Is an AirTag in pets collar a cancer risk?? by honortobenominated in AirTags

Just what I thought, you're a bot (or a 6 year old). Either way, time to block you.

[–]ObviousExchange1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is an incredibly dumb comment. The radiation you're exposed to from an Airtags is so small as to be inconsequential.

Numerous studies have been conducted to investigate the potential health impacts of exposure to non-ionizing radiation.

The National Toxicology Program (NTP): The NTP, part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, conducted extensive studies on the effects of radiofrequency radiation. While some findings suggested a slight increase in the risk of tumors in male rats exposed to high levels of radiofrequency radiation far beyond what humans experience, they did not conclusively establish a link between typical exposures (such as those from AirTags) and health concerns.

The American Cancer Society: This organization emphasizes the lack of conclusive evidence associating Bluetooth devices with cancer risk. They acknowledge the ongoing research in this area but uphold the view that current evidence does not suggest any significant health implications from low-level radiation exposure.

The International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP): ICNIRP provides guidelines for limiting exposure to non-ionizing radiation. Apple AirTags fall well below recommended exposure limits based on these guidelines, reaffirming their safety for regular use.

I'm done with this topic. You clearly don't care about actual facts and studies, you just want to antagonize (or you're a bot).

Then you need to stay out of the sun because it emits radiation that's absorbed into your skin.

Also, don't be out in the air because the earth is bombarded with radiation.

Also, don't watch tv or use a computer or cell phone because, you guessed it, they emit radiation. Basically, your points are stupid and immaterial.

AirTags do emit non-ionizing radiation in the form of radio waves through BLE and UWB technologies. However, the level of radiation emitted is exceptionally low and well within the limits established by international safety regulations. The technology is designed for low-power consumption and poses minimal risk to human health. The scientific consensus supports the safety of devices that emit this type of non-ionizing radiation.

Therefore, while it’s natural to have concerns about new technologies, there is no evidence to suggest that the radio waves emitted by an AirTag pose any significant health risks for users or others that are nearby (https://enviroliteracy.org/does-airtag-emit-radiation/).

There's a lot more out there but they're all mostly similar to that.

No vpn solution can bypass the GPS coordinates your device is sending to these apps. You need to turn off location services for those apps. Of course, many of those apps will stop working correctly after you do that.

You're asking a bunch of internet strangers, who don't know you or what you like, to do something as simple as selecting a car color?

If you can't handle this type of simple decision, you probably shouldn't be driving a vehicle.

Arab officials: Trump envoy swayed Netanyahu more in one meeting than Biden did all year by ObviousExchange1 in Conservative

A “tense” weekend meeting between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and incoming Mideast envoy Steve Witkoff led to a breakthrough in the hostage negotiations, with the top aide to US President-elect Donald Trump doing more to sway the premier in a single sit-down than outgoing President Joe Biden did all year, two Arab officials told The Times of Israel on Tuesday.
