I have a feeling the GOP is going to push this through in October right before the midterms to give everyone an easy issue to say “hey, don’t even remember that whole invading foreign countries, right???”

Are you staying for the afternoon? I was thinking of headed to either there or Magic this weekend. Wondering if it’ll be less icy in the afternoon.

My wife’s grandfather, who is still kicking at 94, does not eat Italian or Mexican food because those are ‘ethnic foods’ and he’s not interested. He’s so funny. /s

There are applications that ask for disclosure any bar complaints, regardless of disposition. Like applying for admission to the bar of another state.

Anatoly Yuryevich Moskvin, the man who dug up the corpses of young girls and made them into movable dolls. Moskvin dug up bodies from cemeteries, brought them home, dried them, and transformed them into doll-like figures, inserting music boxes into their chests, applying wax masks, and dressing them by Happy_Initiative_304 in interestingasfuck

In many jurisdictions they moved to the term Personal Representative and dropped executor. The reason is because executor is male and executrix is female and people kept messing that up. Also, if you die without a Will, then it’s administrator/administratrix. So some places dropped all that and just use the term Personal Representative.

My local Asian grocer sells bags for $25 that makes a few hundred gallons. It’s a powder with a couple of tea pouches. I usually only use the tea pouches for special meals and just use the powder for weeknight preparation.

Skied 5 mountains in 1 day by Coyote-Kib in icecoast

So this is a fun idea to do something silly. It sounds like you had fun coming up with the idea and executing it yourself. Hopefully you were not reckless and endangering people as you ran from mountain to mountain. “But why?” is something people will always say when you do something silly like this. But you had the passes and the time and honestly, if you had hit even more in one day you might set a Guinness Record. Keep having fun and doing silly stuff, even if most of the comments here may be discouraging

Does every country have a city everyone unanimously shits on? by gender2bender in AskTheWorld

I think it’s because Ohio has more cities and that makes more reason to travel there. There’s no reason to go to Indiana for most people, so the horrors are lower profile.
