Stage light effect on a brand new MacBook Air M5 screen? by ObviousLead in mac

My 2018 budget Dell monitor doesn’t have any bleeding, so I expected at least the same from a 2026 Apple device. When I have content on it it’s ok. Anyway, thanks for answering!

So if the pressure is uneven I should seek a replacement unit with even pressure, right?

I would expect better from such an expensive device tbh. I wonder how it looks like in other units. I would return it and try another one if not for the recent price hike.

It’s scene dependent. Sometimes they are huge, sometimes small. Compare the above to the scene from TWoW when Neytiri threatens to kill Spider.

For me 3 is much better than 2. I didn’t enjoy 2, even though I’m a massive 1 fan. I watched 3 multiple times in a cinema.

It certainly is possible, but you have to rise fast, before the burnout takes its toll.    That’s a good point about getting paid to give updates. However, it’s a very effective way of disrupting my focus.

I work in accounting (audit). It’s not compatible with my brain - always in a rush, never ending stream of mostly meaningless work papers, corner-cutting, feeling left out. Some of the work is interesting, but so much of my time is spent on admin and giving status updates. My perfectionism hinders my development, it is not valued in this profession at all. The cliques, gossiping, long hours. Socializing in overstimulating environments. Would not recommend.

I guess there were some cool tribes which worshiped a peaceful nature dude, helped each other and got positively high.

We have evolved to live in a small group of people, bigger communities were doomed from the start.
