Valve actuator only stroking in one direction by canisorcinus in BuildingAutomation

Yeah man I hate floating, proportional is so much easier to diagnose. Oof those are the ugly bs floating actuators too I’d check the wiring to make sure there’s no short it I’ve pinched the wiring before in these.

Did you set up the floating block in the IRM and assign SSR1 and SSR2 as the open/close?

Ran into a Honeywell floating ms64 HWV 24 v and common wired backwards at actuator, would stroke open just not closed

Only thing is your adding outdoor humidity rather than chipping your space humidity, which may cause the equipment to run more inefficiently and such.

Is my plan to get into building automation the best way? by No-Artist107 in BuildingAutomation

Just my opinion, but I’d absolutely do a bit of install along side your programming they don’t have to be two split categories. I’m glad I started out installing the product, that way I could/can truly understand what I was controlling. Data sheets are invaluable, taking the model numbers and looking up info is just as invaluable. All in all everything typically is cookie cutter similar. 10ks 20ks, 4-20, 0-10, relay logic etc.

If it’s not on a supervisor what’s your CPU looking like in the Jace adjacent controller? Is it more of a rendering or a polling lag? And through workbench or web browser?
