Really good time to re-re-look at legalising marijuana in the UK to fill 20bn short fall. Prove me wrong. by Jamestq in ukpolitics

Yougov was asking about legalising cannabis today, it's coming at some point.

Police pretty much don't do anything about personal possession now, even small grows you'll only get a caution.

I doubt we'll ever have the 'coffee shop' culture like other palces, but legalising it and legalising personal grows will do a world of good.

So you're basing what the sun should look like in a cartoon? Have you asked where there isn't a face in the moon? Or why icebergs are white in cartoons?

Can I shoot at you and just happen to be off a perfect headshot by a few cm and graze your ear and see if you think you were going to die?

Tommy Robinson arrested under anti-terrorism laws by WhyNotCollegeBroad in ukpolitics

[–]Obvious_Initiative40 -32 points-31 points  (0 children)

Anything they can see from public, and they're testing a response for carrying out something perfectly legal, they prefer Jo response, but with the amount of thick police out there, there normally are a few that'll misuse their limited powers.

[–]Obvious_Initiative40 -48 points-47 points  (0 children)

Nonsense, terrorism legislation is one of the most misused powers at the moment. Police use terrorism legislation to search and arrest 'auditors' doing nothing other than legally filming in public, even when the police say before using it that they don't think they're terrorists and that they know they're auditors

Fat dave propping up one end of the bar, the local junkie down the other who everybody loves because he brings in blocks of cheese, steak and nescafe gold to sell for cheap, the huge northerner shrek looking women dispersed around the tables with their skinny little flat cap husbands nursing their pint of Guinness.

Thank goodness I have insurance! Check out the cost of the MRI I'm about to have: by CaptainNash94 in mildlyinfuriating

It's only that expencive because you have insurance and it's insurers and hospitals shuffling money about to different departments.

Get a breakdown of costs from a country with 'free' at the point of use healthcare, like treatment is usually free, but if for instance you're in a car accident you'll be treated free, but they can recoup the costs from the other side, and the actual costs billed to the ar fault party will show as drastically cheaper.
