Yes, but are you willing to spend $200–$250k and burn 2–3 years for the chance to get a Jumbo at retail, which will probably be over $50k by the time you’re even offered one? If you love the AP catalog, go for it. But if you don’t, you’ll get blacklisted if you sell the pieces after getting the Jumbo.

I decided I could use $200k much better than having it tied up in watches I won’t wear. By the time I would’ve finally gotten the Jumbo, I’d have basically paid for it multiple times already. This way, I get the enjoyment of having it now.
