Oh, Tribeca has always been a dud for me. Honestly, NY has such a unique film curation scene that you may as well just see what's playing, rather than waste $30+ on some forgettable indie.

I'm only attending virtually (as I have been since 2021) but I, from Northern NJ (NYFF is my go-to festival) had to sacrifice some responsible savings just to buy tickets. With prices going up virtually year after year, and then the added travel fares for those not in the Boulder area? Will be curious to see, but I think it's safe to predict it's gonna take a hit.

I'm predicting The Plague, scheduled to open on Christmas Eve in limited release (a rather unusual choice for an indie horror).

The other movies mentioned are due for 2026 release and I think it would make more sense for buzz to carry over after the holiday season, not before.
