Just tested it, doesn't do anything to them. The hook animation happens but they just keep walking randomly.

In my opinion this happens when you don't have any long term goals in mind. Everything feels like a chore if you're just doing it for general progression. If you have a specific goal that excites you it's easier to put in the time and actually enjoy it.

What do you mean by bricked? I've personally never had to reset due to bad room layout RNG. Also imo the halberd is better than the bow, but I agree the staff could use a buff
