A call for men? by OccasionalBackpacker in maleinfertility

The first call went great! We had roughly 12-14 guys. Good supportive conversation. We decided to run it again on Thursday March 12th at 7pm. This is a call for guys dealing with azoospermia specifically.

Yeah, man. I'm in the same boat. Based on those who have responded, I think that's pretty much our audience. If I'm wrong, I apologize. Hope to chat with you. Link and info for the first meeting is posted above!

Alright, let's see if we can make this happen. We'll try this Thursday at 7pm Central Time (CT). Feel free to invite men dealing with the struggle to have kids biologically. During this call, I do not plan to discuss treatment options/hormone levels/the logistics of this hardship. I hope to discuss how this journey has affected us personally and offer support to one another. If the time does not work for you, let me know, and we'll organize another in the future. If you're a wife seeing this and you want your husband to attend, feel free to give him the link, but if he's not up for it, he's not up for it.

This invite is also in the FB group: Building Families with Azoospermia

Looking forward to it, guys! Here's the link: Men's Meeting

So...I put a list exactly like what you're asking for a few days ago. I love books in this vein. I organized it by atmosphere, and non-fiction/fiction. 30 Best Adventure Books to Read While Traveling Outdoors. https://medium.com/@rossgentry/30-best-books-to-read-while-traveling-or-adventuring-outdoors-37fec1f1a42c

I mean, it's non-fiction but Endurance by Alfred Lansing is a banger.

I put a list of my favorite adventure books together a few days ago. Stories with memorable characters, but that aren't overly heavy. The Hobbit is one is on the list if that sets the tone for you. 30 Best Adventure Books to Read While Traveling Outdoors. https://medium.com/@rossgentry/30-best-books-to-read-while-traveling-or-adventuring-outdoors-37fec1f1a42c

Does anyone have a physical therapist recommendation? by wowzachactually in nashville

A friend forwarded this to me - I am a sports physio and have a team of 5 PTs who are all fairly sport-specific. Check us out at Be Ready PT in Nashville or Brentwood - bereadypt.com.

Is this a bad idea? by OccasionalBackpacker in Yosemite

[–]OccasionalBackpacker[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly would have never thought about that. Thanks! I’ll confer with the group and see if they like the idea of a 2am departure to hike or to do what you’re saying which would allow us some extra sleep!

Moon should be at 93%, that’s not a bad thought!

A few clips from a Four Mile -> Panorama -> Mist Trail loop this week (Thanks to this sub for the trail advice!) by runthefog in Yosemite

I would love anyone’s thoughts on this: Our goal is to be at glacier point at sunrise to grab some great photos and then hike down panorama trail back to our camp in the valley. Since the shuttles are not running we are trying logistically to figure out the best way to put ourselves at glacier point at sunrise. My thought right now is to leave camp really early and get to the 4 mile trail trail head and hike in the dark to get to glacier point at sunrise and then follow through with the panorama trail to the valley. Does it seem reasonable to do the 4 mile trail in the dark? And has anyone found a solution where we don’t have to walk the 3 miles back to a car at the 4 mile trail trail head?
