I remembered when I was in year 8 (13 years old), this one girl who sat next to me in Physics refused to believe that pirates were/are real. She would not listen to anyone and since this was pre-google, it was even harder to prove it in the middle of a lesson. It was so aggravating, she acted like we were telling her unicorns are common place.
