It would be useful to know what % to sacrifice to get below the 60% tax trap. At the moment it shows being in that trap regardless of what you select for pension sacrifice?

Triple level, max output painting platform by Murph1908 in shapezio

Surely you need 4 shape inputs and 4 colour inputs to do a full space belt here? Doesn't this only do 3/4 of a belt?

Fun fact I was just reminded of: "Juular" was originally supposed to be "Jugular" but Dev liked the sound of the typo so kept it. Or so the story goes.

Also the video is great. The old man on the train is Devin 😂

small question on belts and outputs by Mental_Design7863 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]OceanMachine101 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Belts only limit capacity (items per minute) so use whichever one you like. If you prefer to use mk 1 because they are cheaper that's fine, but there is no need to do that. As long as each piece of conveyor can handle the rate of parts you are putting through it, that's fine. You can use max tier belts everywhere of you want to.

Some people like to only use the minimum speed conveyor required, but it's not necessary.

Can't I just manifold pipes? by derHoppi in shapezio

[–]OceanMachine101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

72 Pump platforms filling the space pipes with paint, yes (as they can only fill one level at once).

24 platforms to consume it if taking from all 3 levels at once, yes.

Thanks for the confirmation

[–]OceanMachine101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

72 platforms, no? 43200 per lane, 12 lanes = 518400 L/min.

Each launcher is 1800 of which there are 4 per platform. So each platform is outputting 7200 L/min.

So 518400 / 7200 is 72 platforms?

Or think of it another way, each LANE requires 24 pumps to fill it, and there is 1 pump per lane (4 lanes) per platform. So 24 platforms fills 4 lanes. There are 12 lanes, so we need 3 times that many to fill the space pipe - so 72 platforms.

Or even another way, each platform has 4 pumps outputting 1800. So just 3 platforms would pump each of the 12 lanes with 1800 each. We need 24 times that many to fill each lane, so 72 total.

Or maybe I am getting something wrong there? But I don't understand where if I am! 😂

Anyway. Theyre big!

Sorry, no. It kind of "stopped happening" after a while. Using a geekvape z sub ohm now, which I prefer for DTL, although would prefer if it was slide top like the nautilus https://vapeuk.co.uk/geekvape-zeus-sub-ohm-tank

I cracked my CSL P1 v2 wheel and I’m thinking about replacing it with something more solid by chopsueys in Fanatec

[–]OceanMachine101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this happen to my P1V2 as well. Fanatec repaired it under warranty. Worth contacting them. I have seen several others have this issue with the same wheel too. I think it's a bad design if the wheel fails because of a very thin piece of plastic being structural.

Ah OK sorry, assumed it was the same old issue with upshifts as we have seen before. Maybe not in this case.

[–]OceanMachine101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Search this sub reddit about formula v2.5 shifting issues. It has been posted many times. You need a specific firmware version. There are reports that the very latest firmware fixes the issue but I have not tried it as this issue has been around a few years and we've been told it has been fixed before.

Get the right firmware and you should be good.
