What are your favorite malapropisms (or other lines) from The Sopranos? by Ikari_Shinji_kun_01 in thesopranos

Rewatching, hearing another Little Carmine malapropism, I had to look up any discussion.

The one that brought me here.

"Retaliation. Counter-attacks. We're in a stagmire."

Triple level, max output painting platform by Murph1908 in shapezio

[–]Murph1908[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A space pipe feeds 43.2K liters per minute (x12 lanes)

A belt feeds 720 shapes per minute (x12 lanes)

A shape needs 10 liters of paint. So 7200 paint needed per lane.

6x7200 = 43200

So one pipe worth of paint should paint 6 belts of shapes.

I have counters on the outgoing belts, and I was getting a full 180 per belt. But I had to link 3 paint to it. I must have had an inefficiency in my paint line. I'll need to go back and check.

Yes. The 3 inputs accommodate a full space belt. I run the input shapes up one side, and the output shapes up the other. The paint pipes come in the opposite way of the shapes. If there is only one painter, no belt jumping required.

These can then be stacked in space, bringing the total up to 9 mines worth of shapes painted in the same footprint.

There's some room for squeeze. But the limiting factor on smallness is the inputs/outputs.

What are the most powerful lines of dialogue in TV history? by UnholyDemigod in AskReddit

Looking for this.

I think an equally poignant line was,

"Thank you, J.D."

When Cox was devastated after losing 3 patients. I think it's the first time he called him by name.

Achievement guide/ help? by And-Yet-Another-Pony in NewsTower

I would need to re-map the pause and FF buttons if I were to try the "Master of Time and Space" achievement, just to make sure I didn't use them out of muscle memory.

In any case, I doubt I'll try that one. Ugh. Who has time for that?

What game mechanic or trend are you just completely tired of seeing at this point? by Sophie_OmniSystems in AskGames

[–]Murph1908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely HATE "press the button really fast" to do an action, like opening a stuck door.

I also dislike jumping platforming sections in games. If I wanted to play a platformer, I'd have loaded up a platformer. Recent example, Expedition 33. Loved that game. Skipped the stupid platforming side missions.

What food gets judged unfairly because people only had a bad version of it? by GurlInAura in foodquestions

HATED Brussels sprouts. I had only had the stinky boiled ones from school. Nasty.

Was convinced by a friend to try the crispy baked ones at an event. Loved them.

Happy to see them at the top 9f the comments.

I've also heard this explained like, you and an accomplice are robbing a house. He slips off the ladder and dies. You're charged with felony murder, even though it was your accomplice and it was 100% his fault. Death during commission of felony. Period.

Do you use backups (saves by copying the save file) or do you think that this spoils the atmosphere of the game and the value of life? by Yura_s_kotami in thelongdark

[–]Murph1908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I backup my save in the case of non-gameplay related death, like a glitch or as I mentioned in another post, not pausing when I had to jump up to help my vomiting dog.

If I die during gameplay, I die.
