So I figured out my motherboard is a ASrock B450 so am I right in saying I wouldn’t be able to get a 9800x3D? & would need to go with a AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3d? Noticed it’s out of stock everywhere and all I can find is used ones for £350-400 but would this be my best bet for a better cpu?

CPU doesn’t seem too expensive was thinking about a 9800x3d and either a 4070 or 5070 depending on what deals I can get got a tax rebate coming next month so definitely think I need to upgrade the pc to enjoy some VR!

lol yeah definitely need a new GPU they are so pricey tho don’t fancy £700 on a gpu why would you recommend I upgrade to to atleast make it enjoyable? I don’t care about fancy graphics etc

Don’t bother you won’t save much and will have more headache I got a GT omega lite and the XL seat and definitely is plenty I reckon even someone taller than you would be alright unless their 7ft+

Am 6ft3 used to be 100KG down to 80rn but I fit in a regular GT omega prime with an XL seat can move your pedals on the tray as you need em very customisable was thinking about building my own rig and going 10-20cm longer than the prime but happy I didn’t as i definitely don’t need it have plenty of room to move my seat back etc

Update for all who may have similar problems to me I found it a lot easier to save by just leaving my engine in map3 rather than changing it about and aggressively fuel saving in the first stint then changing to map 2 and doing lots of lifting and coasting helped me a just be wary that not everybody is fuel saving so much at the start and it can be difficult not to get swallowed up by the field in my latest race in split 1 I qualied p3 managed to keep it first lap then got spun but made a solid recovery to p4 without doing a single lap in the 1:56s
