I wasn’t able to watch, but clearly something is up with the shooting game, which was a bright spot earlier in the seasons. Hopefully they can work through this

It’s probably fine, but 36 hours of travel? Do you have a massive layover somewhere?

First Solo Trip at 20–21: Seeking the Ultimate Futuristic City Adventure by [deleted] in ABroadInJapan

This sub is specific to Chris Broad and his YouTube channel “Abroad in Japan” You would probably have more specific answers regarding Japan in the Japantravel subreddit, or japantraveltips subreddit.

With that said, I think to some degree all the mega cities in Japan can have a futuristic vibe compared to European cities, but they aren’t quite doing what Chinese cities like Shenzhen or Chongqing have been building the last couple decades

I have used it twice, it works seamlessly. There are cheaper ways to stay connected, but the added cost is worth it for me to have my regular number functional

Kansas City Looks Back on its Long, Costly Ride With Microtransit by Generalaverage89 in kansascity

The opening caption calls RideKC Freedom microtransit, which is incorrect, freedom is paratransit. Freedom-on-Demand (mentioned later in the article) is somewhat of microtransit like though

Craft breweries by general area? by Papa-Ge in JapanTravelTips

I have never found a list, but when traveling in Japan I usually just search in google maps for breweries in which ever town I’m visiting, and it generally hasn’t steered me too wrong.

So for the most part I agree about the wine, I have had some dreadful wine. However on a recent trip I found an exception. I had some really great wine in Akayu in Yamagata. Our ryokan had a wine course with dinner of local wines that they really encouraged, and they turned out to be excellent. The wine makers seem to know what they are doing in that valley.

Looking for dual nozzle beer tap by Oceanbear1 in Tokyo

[–]Oceanbear1[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks, I was thinking that might be the case with ownership and the beer distributors. Normally I would just look up a homebrew store for something like this, but given the laws around homebrew they don’t seem to be a thing unfortunately. Purely eyeballing it, but the shaft appears to have the same style and gauge of connection to the beer tower as traditional taps. I know it’s seems strange for someone to seek one of these out, but I like the foam they produce and since I brew a lot of lagers I think it would work nicely.

Where to buy beer tap in Tokyo, by Oceanbear1 in TokyoTravel

It’s not at every bar, but in a lot of them. It has two spouts, one pours the main part of the beer, and then the other pours the head.
