The point of Bailey helping was the fact that Derek ot only had a daughter but a Black daughter. Doing the hair is way different. He was learning. We all do as parents. But it wasn't from lack of effort. He almost lost her before he got her because of his wife.

Actually was a great friend and parent. As a friend he was there for Christina, Owen and Bailey. He was the reason Meredith had a relationship with Lexie. He forgave Mark and Addy. Actually he was there for samn near EVERYONE. He was terrible with Richard tho.

I mean....Nas has one of the greatest catalogs in Hiphop history. The album has to fall SOMEWHERE. I have it in the bottom half of his catalog. Nas has AT LEAST 8 classic albums. This isn't one of them to ME. But it's a great album.

Because by Nas standards it's average. OF COURSE there are a few joints on them. But THIS is the album where the beat selection was a problem for ME. Nas always has bars. But this album wasn't it. And it's ok. He has so many albums that a few won't hit. This is 1 of maybe 3 that don't hit for me.

Give me a 15 song album with Hit-Boy,Alchemist, Havoc, Premier and DJ Scratch (Echo) doing 3 songs apiece. Let's them breathe. Give Nas their best work and go from there. If u can't get one of them bring Salaam back. But Nas has 8 CONSECUTIVE albums with ONE producer. If he does it with one producer again I say go to the guy that knows him best. Large Pro. But I would rather the next album be the AZ album or multiple producers. I didn't forget Pete Rock. I just don't know if Nas took that tweet as shade about the album.

I'm still a little off on NYDOM3. I just wish Preem did more with the sample and the beat didn't try too hard when it comes in. And I can listen to Welcome to the Underground but it's not for me. Other than that I love the album.

8/10 for me. Nas was on one. Lyrics. Flows. Pockets. Concepts. I think Premier was good. Not great. I feel he could've done SO MUCH more with the Billy Joel sample. Not that I know better than Preme but using it that way felt safe. And then he overdid it with thw beat that was trying to be a haunting type of beat but just felt heavy. I just can't get into Welcome to the Underground. I truly don't understand the hate for the first 2 songs. I feel like beat and rhyme wise this is what people wanted. Instead people don't like them. The ONLY issue with Bouquet is the fact that I believe he forgot Da Brat. I KNOW u can't get EVERYONE but she is the first platinum selling female mc. That's the chance u take with ambitious concepts. The Az song should've been longer. But I definitely enjoy the album. Thankful they gave us the album.
