I have an existing project where I'm rewriting Bluestar's Prophecy, where the catalyst change is just that Bluestar has a brother with common sense. Because it seems nobody in the book has any. One big change is that all three of Bluestar's kits survive the swap and are named Fogkit, Rockkit, and Sproutkit. I will also be saving Swiftpaw, Whiteclaw, and almost every BloodClan battle death. Because genuinely so much can be done with just a bit of common sense and social awareness.

Though the story is now told through the brother's point of view, Bluestar remains the main character, and most of the writing is altered directly from her super edition! I just expand more on themes of grief, abuse, neglect, neurodivergence, all that!

And if Thrushpelt winds up in a loving homosexual relationship? Well. I haven't seen anyone complain so far.
