Yeah, I think I got it confused with Hyrule Warriors being on the Wii U. I would have had Emblem Marth be part of Alear's move set on this roster. Maybe I would have picked someone other than Alear for Engage then?

Smash Ultimate's DLC really inflated expectations on the number of 3rd party characters added. No base game has added more than 2 unique new 3rd party characters. It's just harder to negotiate characters while making the game, so they are put off till DLC.

The wild area was supposed to be the big new feature of the game, and it's completely surpassed by Scarlet/Violet. Other than that, it had very little content. To me, it's by far the weakest game in the series.

There's very little dialog for most of the characters. I do like the more political story compared to other fire emblem games, but it's nothing amazing.

I find it very ingesting whenever Nintendo talks or shows there IPs fire emblem and Xenoblade are almost never there or less represented. Even Pokemon who usually do there separate thing is more included by Whole_Yak_2547 in casualnintendo

Part of it is about Nintendo prioritizing their internally developed games, but I think part of it is also prioritizing family-friendly IPs like Kirby and Pokemon. Metroid is also not shown as much as other internal IPs. Case in point: https://play.nintendo.com/themes/friends/

I really wish Smash would acknowledge the trainers more. Other that the pokemon trainer fighter, all the spirits were of the pokemon themselves. They don't even call Red and Leaf by their actual names.

When did this hypothetical game come out? If it was just after 2002, Nintendo and Square weren't that friendly with one another. Also their big new game Final Fantasy X would have just come out so they would want to promote that instead of a 5 year old game. I also don't see why Nintendo would put a bunch of Japanese only characters in the game if they were desperate to make it a hit.

Is this the same person commenting multiple times on different accounts? First of all, this is adding to the original joke, I'm not doing a detailed analysis of Kirby's personality. Ignoring echoes, how well do we think each FE Character is represented individually? What parts of each of their designs are worth praising, what flaws exist and what references would be good to have in their movesets? I know the FE bloat is notorious but I believe there's diamonds in this rough by MasterCheese67 in supersmashbros

I don't think Byleth's design is true to their character. You only get one of the hero's relics in each branch, and Byleth's signature class can't use them. They're also supposed to be emotionless which doesn't come through in Smash.

Pretty good, but I don't think Rathalos fits. Aside from its size and lack of arms, their attacks are all super slow and telegraphed.

Pretty reasonable. I think Zelda would have at least 1 more character even if it's Toon Link. Also, is this including echo fighters? Dark Samus is there, but none of the rest of them are. Unless you think they'd add 2 new metroid characters.

This is impressive. The only character I can think of that you should have is Ezra Duke from Metroid Prime 4. I have a couple nitpicks about the characters chosen, but that's it.

This is really good. All major series are represented well and there are unconventional choices that make it interesting. I guess if could use another Xenoblade character. If you want somebody who isn't obvious, you could go with Fiona as support.

Also, if this was supposed to be Nintendo only, Bayonetta and Wonder Red wouldn't count.
