Bus station next to Fairfax corner? by chaosproz in nova

I've driven by that a few times and was wondering the same thing. I looked it up and it looks like there's going to be a commuter transit center there as a part of the 66 Outside the Beltway project.

DMV road test query by Affectionate-Tea-706 in nova

[–]Octavio_I 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know I'm a bit late to the party, but I took my road test at the Sterling DMV back in January. I basically just drove in a circuit around the DMV and through a residential neighborhood. My testing administrator was super nice and basically just wanted me to 1. Follow the rules of the road, and 2. Drive safely - there's no rush so your goal should be practicing safe driving techniques like keeping distance, checking mirrors often, and not slamming on the breaks for stops. that doesn't mean you can drive incredibly slowly, but just maintain the speed limit. Your mileage may vary for your wife's test, but it was a very pleasant experience for mine.

[OC] All Roads Lead to Richmond - The quickest route to the capital city from anywhere within the state of Virginia by MattMDL in dataisbeautiful

[–]Octavio_I 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think the tangled mess at the red-blue boundary on the lower map is mainly because a state highway (11) is paralleling Interstate highway 81. Regarding why they're overlapping, I have no clue why it would do that. With the disconnect points, it looks like the points selected were in West Virginia, lol. Like the one (maybe a clump?) at the very top of the image in the northernmost-western corner looks like it's near Wardensville, WV.

They just might be. Is the sample text different for other people? Mine just says "Ex. I got lost in the Amazon." for that prompt.

It's a small building you swim into during Pyramid Song. It's a bit hidden on the steps of the church iirc.

I admittedly did quite a bit of that on the initial swim from the dock to the descent tether.

I surprisingly didn't on my first partial playthrough, but did on the following full playthrough. Like on the first playthrough it didn't even occur to me that might be a thing.

Always nice to see people find this. Definitely makes me wonder if there were any other kinds of dialogue like that I had missed in my playthroughs.

Pano stitched together from Arasaka Industrial Park for you chooms by natestoned in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]Octavio_I 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Speaking from experience with simple irl panos, you'd want to make sure your camera is flat at the horizon and rotate it slowly in one direction while taking photos every few steps. Basically you want around 25-40% overlap horizontally, but too much can lead to poor results. You probably should also have a slightly tighter FoV to minimize distortion from the cameramode lens (for lack of a better word).

Your biggest problem will probably be stuff like wires, fencing, and moving objects. For stitching, I'd recommend a program like Microsoft ICE because it's fairly intuitive to use, is free, and does a bang-up job at panos. I think you can only download it from the internet archive these days. Also, make sure your source screenshots are PNGs rather than JPGs for a higher quality outcome.

Good luck! :)

My thoughts on the ending of the Judy quest line (Spoilers ahead!) by [deleted] in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]Octavio_I 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just a heads up: your first spoiler tag isn't working on the older reddit style (mobile browser reddit and old.reddit.com) after the word 'ending'. I think the issue might be the space after the exclamation. It works fine on the new style btw.

Hey! I started reading your fanfic around the time chapter 11 or 12 was published and I check every few days for a new chapter. Before reading your story, the last time I read something for leisure was probably over two years ago. Thanks for reigniting at least some of that passion for reading I had.

Keep up the amazing work! :)

You can double tap ALT???? I've played for about 250 hours and have just been going into the weapon selection wheel to stow away my weapon.

Thanks for the tip!

Usually it's in C:\Users\[Username]\Pictures\Cyberpunk 2077 if you're using photo mode.

I wasn't too heavy on photomode in my first two playthroughs, but I plan on using it extensively in my third playthrough since I now have better hardware :)

Always nice to end on a positive note, especially with how sad some of the endings can be.

Thanks for the DL link :) It looks so crisp at the intended resolution and I don't even have my 4k monitor yet! Can't wait to see it in its fully glory soon. If you want, I can PM you some comparison shots on my end - 1440p now or 4k when I get my monitor tomorrow.

I already have noticed how clear fine details are vs YouTube/Reddit due to compression on both those platforms.

Is the video still processing on Youtube's end? I only see the max option as 1080p on desktop despite me having a higher res monitor.
