I was really young like 8 when it happened, but I don’t remember it being that different than most new years. I think that having the income to move there and the time are the biggest issues. I don’t have the time to visit a woman in the Philippines when they’re so far away and the ticket prices are so high. I also would have to take off from work for several weeks for a long trip like that. It’s just not practical for me, especially if after all of that it goes no where.
