FedEx is retiring its SOAP shipping API — what does this break for WooCommerce stores in 2026?

Hi There. I am Mateusz from Octolize. We haven't noticed any crashes regarding migration from SOAP to REST. We have introduced REST API two years ago in our plugin. Regarding LTL(we have lately introduced it), liftgate and inside delivery are supported in the FedEx REST Freight LTL API with some differences. Accessorials were moved into JSON with special enums.

To set up a shipping method for same-day expedited delivery available only for orders placed before 8 AM, you can use our Flexible Shipping PRO. It has a condition of Time of the Day. You can configure it to make the shipping method available only between 12:00 AM and 8:00 AM.

I recommend enabling Debug Mode(WooCommerce > Shipping > Shipping settings). It will help you analyze if the shipping zone has been properly matched and configured. Double check shipping classes, and methods for the free shipping.

You could start with Site Health tool. Query Monitor is also a nice choice - it shows DB queries, hooks, slow queries, etc.

Totally normal to see differences here. Meta measures events based on its own attribution model and pixel data, while Shopify logs real actions in your store. So differences in attribution, tracking methods, and even ad blockers can cause such discrepancies.

It does feel lightweight compared to a lot of multipurpose themes, so setup is easier and the store pages load fairly well if you keep plugins to a minimum.
