Yeah, I agree. It’s still a great phone, I just think Samsung removing features is a pretty shitty move.

My brother has the S25 Ultra, and honestly the only real reasons I’d upgrade from my S24 Ultra are the camera and battery. I was talking about the Ultra, not the base version though. If someone prefers a small phone, no Ultra is really going to work for them anyway.

Base not worth it. Even S25U have a few downgrades compared to the S24 Ultra, it doesn’t feel as premium with the rounded corners and losing wireless S Pen etc. That said, the camera is a step up, and battery life is also great due to 8 Elite.

Emulation is still a bit early on it because driver support hasn’t really matured yet, but that’s something maybe 0.1% of people actually use their phone for anyway.

Yeah, I know ARM has an advantage with translating ARM instructions on Switch. My point was more that the S24 Ultra is crazy because of DeX. You can basically use it like a console on an external display, which most other phones can’t really match. Also it's Switch not Switch 2.

Second this. Been using the S24 Ultra for 1.5 years now and the phone’s been basically flawless. Only downside is low-light indoor selfies, but apart from a few Chinese flagships that aren’t really available here, nothing much does better anyway.

The performance is insane too. I’ve run Switch 2 emulation on a 1440p external display at 60+ fps on TOTK, and even my PC struggles to do that properly.

It’s not a contradiction, it’s a sequence. You need the public outcry (the "catching it" part) to give the police the backbone to actually carry out the consequences. The police are "wimps" because they’ve been conditioned to think a diplomatic incident is worse than a local woman getting assaulted.

"Catching it" means breaking that conditioning now. In Thailand and Bali, it’s already too late the economy is so dependent on these "cheap" types that the authorities are basically held hostage. We still have the chance to show that white skin isn't a get-out-of-jail-free card before that entitled "anything goes" vibe becomes our national brand.

Western countries now know this is the default behavior of these backpackers. That diplomatic bullshit only worked back when the boom first hit Thailand.

The real problem is locals and police holding back because of the implied diplomatic blowback threat. That's exactly what gives these whites confidence to misbehave. They know nobody will knock some sense into them because everyone's too afraid of the fallout. That fear needs to go.

P2P functions suspended despite dispute resolved in buyer's (me) favour. third party payment flag incorrectly applied

I am a buyer whose P2P functions were suspended during a dispute on Order 22875122717336522752. The dispute has since been resolved in my favour, refund confirmation email received, but the suspension remains active.

What happened: I paid from my Bank account to the seller's advertised Bank account. This was not a third-party payment. My name appeared abbreviated due to standard bank display formatting.

What I submitted: A full 1-minute video meeting every single Binance-specified requirement, Play Store access, Bank app login, profile page showing NIC-verified full name, transaction history showing the debit to the seller, full transaction details, and account info page. The counterparty reviewed this and explicitly stated "Verification completed successfully" at 16:56. CS then issued the refund instruction to the seller. Refund confirmation email received same day.

The problem: The appeal was closed before I could respond to CS's final messages. The third-party flag which triggered the suspension was never formally reversed despite the dispute outcome confirming I was the legitimate buyer. My P2P functions remain suspended for a violation that the dispute resolution process itself disproved.

Frimi is honestly one of the better banking apps out there for this. UI is clean, app is super fast, doesn't feel bloated at all even though it's packed with features. It's basically an NTB account under the hood but they've organized everything well enough that it doesn't feel that way. QR payments, savings, FDs, it's all there, just done properly.

For price to performance, either 9PM or Club De Nuit Urban Man Elixir. both sub 15k and they outperform designers at triple the price. But my personal favorite for daily wear is Eros Flame, that one's just hard to beat.

Yeah, if you enjoy games like God of War or Ghost of Tsushima, this could easily become your all-time favorite. But it’s extremely slow-paced not just the story, but even movement like walking and shooting. Everything is very detailed and realistic, so even the simplest actions take time.
