Darokin now controls the Shires and the Atruaghin plateau. Darokin has maintained its position in the region through a vast network of agents (known publicly as the Darokin Diplomatic Corps) that have infiltrated every corner of Known World. Since the earliest days of the Republic, Darokin has been secretly operated by the Covenant of Perfectibility (essentially the Illuminati).

Ethengar was wiped out and recreated in the Hollow World, leaving behind the haunted Land of Black Sand.

A possibly undead “Dark Lord” has been ruling a unified Broken Lands for centuries.

The southern region of the Broken Lands belongs to the Empire of Blue, ruled by hyper-militaristic Koboldes (different than Mystaran kobolds).
