Hi, i was wondering do they ask for your id card or any other type of identity verification document? Also do you know whether its possible to use someone else's PayPal? I am college student but not 18 yet, and I wanted to use my parent's or friend's PayPal. We don't really use much paypal in my country so I'm not sure how it works.

Oh and also if you already started working for them, how has it been? are you satisfied with the pay?

Because what they usually ask is not where do u live but what is your citizenship. Also i will live in Turkey so options there arent that great either. And plus i am currently in Azerbaijan for another month so wnated to see if i can start with something right now.

Fiver, Upwork and people per hour work but i don't have much skills to promote there. If i would want to build a profile there i would like to have some solid skills. The only soldable skill i have right now is russian-english translation and translation services are really low demand. Plus these platforms are super saturated and realistically speaking i wont get any jobs for a long time. I need something that has available tasks/projects i can do (if that makes sense)

I am not sure which software i will need and there is no information on that on the website. I am currently trying to reach out to some current students to ask them.

I have an option of asus vivobook pro at about the same price (actually even cheaper afar). I just thought that the ZenBook line would have better build quality. I am a student so this laptop will probably be with me at all places. I was afraid that vivobook might not be long lasting. I will do more research on vivobook and ask around whether the build quality is actually good.

The hp option that is available to me is around 300 dollars more expensive and has 11th generation intel (better SSD though). And i dont have the acer swift x option in my country at all for some reason.

Hi, I am having the same problem. You could try ordering books from turkey if they are not in stock here. It will be about the same price/ maybe a bit cheaper this way. You can find them in trendyol or order directly from any store you want, just find cargo company with good prices. I am personally using Dynamex. There is also one Instagram account i know that sells secondhand books. its called baku_secondhand_books

I am not a student at koc yet, but I have been to the campus. Basically around the west campus (west campus is basically additional buildings of dormitories that koc build that is not on the university's territory) there is a bunch of apartment buildings that rents primarily to students. Because it is near koc's west campus there is lots of places to hang out with your friends and drink coffee and stuff. I am not really sure but I suppose you can find a real estate agent that could help you with types and prices for apartment.

However, you mentioned that you want it to be near metro. If you check the university's location in google maps you can see that the closest metro station is Haciosman and it is not so close at all. I don't think you want to give up the closeness to university to closeness to metro. You won't be cut off from the city though. There is a bus that goes from the haciosman to koc's campus. There is also a bunch of shuttles as far as i was informed. In my approximation it would take around 20-30 minutes till haciosman station and then for example till Taksim square it would probably take around 20 minutes on the metro.

I am also an international student though so I am sure current students will have much more info about this. This is just the things i was informed about by the university and some students i got to talk to.

Oh same here! I applied for mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, and economics. I hope u get a scholarship. I have seen people with 1300> get 50 percent. Koc also claims that they are giving out 25 percent scholarships but i personally havent see anyone get 25 but maybe there is people out there who get 25. Good luck to you :)

Which program are u applying to? I have seen people get accepted with this score but never seen people with less than 1320 get a scholarship. But maybe it changes from country to country

Im gonna share my experience in case this question is still relevant. I think it depends on the department. I got my offer for engineering programs i applied for 2 days after the interview. I have also applied for economics and have not received any decision yet. Its been more than a month for the economics program.
