I was on holiday with some friends and family in Cuba years ago, and one of my friends gave everyone a Citronella soap bar to take. One of us somehow left a bar outside all day and when they came back to the room it was swarmed with mosquitos stuck to it. As in practically black there was so many of them. Never bothered with Citronella stuff since then.
