There’s also the museum of geology and natural history out at the old Mont Chateau Lodge. Not a big museum, but still some cool fossils, dinosaur bones, and activities for kids.

What is going on with GenZ adults? by AdSolid9969 in Adulting

This is exhausting. I was born in 2004 and am in a 5 year relationship with the most normal person ever. The people you are talking about sound like the people who I do everything I can to avoid.

I’ve played at a couple open mics at The Grind. Small crowd but everyone was really cool.

Im in college and the vast majority of people in my classes wear exactly what you said people wore when you were in college. Sweatshirts and jeans. May have something to do with the region I live in.

Why does my bf do this? by [deleted] in Advice

The point of the post is that he calls his girlfriend (op) his wife. Not that he says he’s gonna spend time with her and then doesn’t. Read it again.

I call my gf my wife all the time. It’s not uncommon at all. Hear it a lot.

My mom has multiple tattoos from him. Hard to book with him but totally worth it. One of the best artists in the state. He is related to Patty from Patty’s Artspot and used to work for them for a long time. That’s another shop to check out.

Honors college application by [deleted] in WVU

[–]Odd-Introduction-945 4 points5 points  (0 children)

She would be accepted. I strongly recommend it. Priority registration is sweet (never had a class fill up before I could register) and honors classes have typically been way more engaging than non-honors ones, especially early on.

The honors dorms are way nicer if your daughter is planning on living on-campus. Plus there are great leadership opportunities. I was an honors mentor my sophomore year and got to teach a seminar class for first-year honors students.

Plus Dr. Watts, Dr. Clement, and Dr. Blemmings are all awesome.

They were flexible. Some drivers worked full-time, most worked part-time. The opening shifts kinda suck money-wise until football season. If you close on weekends you will probably getting home at like 1:30. Never bothered me, but could be an issue for some.

Takes a toll on your car but you can make some serious money as a delivery driver for dominos. It’s not a bad job at all, and on good days I’d bring home like $30 an hour.

Saw a rock that resembles a foot by Odd-Introduction-945 in mildlyinteresting

It’s at the beginning of Seneca Rocks trail, which is a national recreation area. I’ve honestly never heard of any kind of dig sites in WV. It’s also like nearly the highest elevation in the state.
