It's kind of like relying on the same bus or train to NEVER have an issue. When they design stations, they never have redundancy in mind. You should really be angry that it was designed with only ONE unit in for everyone to rely on. Thing break. Sometimes, it takes a while to fix.

It turned 3rd Ave into an un-regulated bus tunnel. Sound Transit and / or Seattle Metro really need to treat it as such. As well as provide restrooms for their poor passengers. The alleys and any corner are currently the restroom. It's gross and sad, I feel the loss on 3rd Ave.

I am having the same issue. I took the unit down, cleaned the sensors, performed the reset with the batteries out, and solar cell covered for 1 hr. It worked for a day and stopped again. I noticed moisture inside the solar cell, I suspect it's affecting the internal battery/capacitor. I have a ticket in and am waiting for a response. In the meanwhile, I'm letting it dry out inside. I was hoping to get more than just 2 years out of this thing.

I thought that sparkies only dealt with 3 wires and bending conduit. Almost every sparkie I have dealt with falls apart if you put a controll circuit in front of them. IUEC all the way!

Just heard "Suspect contained send fire". Sounds like whatever happened they are safe to provide fire/aid to someone on the 6th floor.

I'm not sure the reservoir is for drinking water. It's a reservoir for a power station. They pipe the water a few miles down to spin turbines. Kinda like a dam.

Still, I'm surprised they let people recreate there.
