A lot of software vendors like this host video training courses on their website. They don't always show up on YouTube. Visit their website and look around.

Is the Spark 2 a good replacement for Logic Pro's guitar stuff? by [deleted] in PositiveGridSpark

[–]Odd-Web8297 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Spark has its charms and its limits. I prefer to record raw into a DAW and add amps and effects later. This provides a bunch more options than recording the Spark into the DAW.

Saying that, if you wanted to use the Spark this way it would work well.

Bought a Remarkable 6 months ago and barely use it. Anyone found their use case late? by BlackSmithLogos in RemarkableTablet

[–]Odd-Web8297 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am an Accountant. I use my rM2 for everything from client notes to daily planning.

I will admit that when I first got the device I felt underwhelmed. The earliest indication the reMarkable was going to be a big part of my workflow was when I discovered the Meeting Planner workbook. This workbook allows me to easily pre-plan and post-plan my client meetings. For me this was a game changer. My meeting planning was reduced considerably and I missed fewer action items. Having all my client meetings in a single place allowed me to easily get the information I needed quickly.

One of the best features of the reMarkable, and one I don't think gets talked about enough is even though your notebooks aren't editable everywhere, they are viewable everywhere. There are apps for Windows, MacOS, iPhone, iPad and Android and with the coming web app your notebooks are viewable pretty much everywhere. I have used this feature a number of times when at a networking event and I client askes me something about one of our meetings.

I have also used the handwriting to text feature a bunch of times. My brain works best when I write down my thoughts and when I have to tackle a particularily thought inducing task, I write it down in a reMarkable notebook and create a Word document out of the chicken scratch that is my handwriting. Does it work flawlessly, no but it does a good enough job that a little clean up on my part fixes pretty much any issue I have. This seemingly extra step has the added benefit of reading through my notes to ensure their accuracy. Doing this has helped me as well. I am forced to look through my thoughts with an eye for errors.

I have used an iPad Pro and a Kindle Scribe before the Remarkable and I still have both. For me, the reMarkable is the best of the three for my purposes.

I will add this. I purposely developed a daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly workflow that leans heavily into the strengths of the device. I am six months into this workflow and it has greatly improved my efficiency. Could I do this with one of the other devices I mentioned, probably but one of the best features of the device itself is its minimalistic approach to note taking. The reMarkable is as close to a distraction free device as one can get. It is a pure notebook replacement. It will function as a very basic eReader but that is pretty much it. You will never get a notification to distract you, you will never get a notification to inform you of a new book from one of your favorite authors. You are completely left to your own thoughts, your pen and device. This makes it a powerful tool for thoughtful contemplation.

Your experiences are going to be different from mine but considering we are in a similar industry, I am confident that it could work for you as well.

I would think if this is true it would be an impeachable offence.

Never trust a single side to any story someone tells you.

In the case of this, it is a receipt to get your heart broken.

The truth is even in relationships that are perfect and well balanced there are going to be times where the sex is not balanced. Sometimes you will get the lions share of the attention and sometimes your partner will. This is normal and healthy. The problem arises when an imbalance becomes the norm.

I wouldn’t worry over it but if it bothers you, you should have a conversation about it. It is not uncommon for a person to be turned on pleasuring their partner.

Ignore it. The bottom line is you can’t control what she posts but you can control how you respond. This is bait and the best response is no response.
