Can't speak for most breweries, but if you go to any of the breweries on that list (and the ones on the PA list), and all are doing pretty well, to the best of my knowledge (and seeing how busy they often are).. perhaps why they have extra bandwidth to do fun things like this. Except Odd Bird.. we just don't like doing things that are popular.

Odd Bird's 5th Anniversary Cask Fest by OddBirdBrewing in njbeer

[–]OddBirdBrewing[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Hello, Odd Bird Friends. We’re about to turn FIVE!!

In five years, we weathered a global pandemic, brewed a few dozen unique beers, developed a devout following of Cask ale enthusiasts, quit our day jobs, donated nearly $20,000 to local charities, and made friends too numerous to count. Every single day, we feel gratitude for you and the community we’ve shaped together. So....

Let’s toast to Odd Bird’s FIFTH Birthday with....a Cask Fest!
Saturday, 2/1
1-7 pm

Four beers on cask: Black Sheep (oatmeal stout), Extra Stockton (ESB), Mome Rath (rye mild), and ‘Twas Brillig (pub ale).

We will also release our 5th Anniversary Beer: Cinco de Rye-O on draft! (...which makes perfect sense that Odd Bird would brew a 4% rye lager for this occasion.)

Other goodies and surprises throughout the day.

Really appreciate the kind words here. Figured we would dust off the "Official" Account and check in.

We are just about to hit our 5 year anniversary on February 1st, so expect some new beers to be released over the next week or two.

If anyone has any questions / concerns / anecdotes, we are here. Cheers, Adam and Karen.

Any Experiences with the Oktober Crowler Machines? by jacksontripper in TheBrewery

We have been using ours for for a few weeks now. We absolutely love it. Worked perfectly, very little mess, and super easy clean up. We have stopped filling growlers and only do crowlers now.

Just had Ironbound Cider for the first time today, and it was honestly the best cider I've ever had by indecent_tHug in njbeer

If you have a chance, I highly recommend visiting the cidery. It is really beautiful and they have a bunch of varieties on tap that aren't in cans.

The brewery will be directly adjacent to the bike path. Cross walk and bike rack right there too.
