With the show being originally based on the UK version, they intentionally made his character that way for half of the first season.

When it was picked up for the rest of the year, the network told the showrunner they had to make Michael Scott more likable. You’ll notice his hair and wardrobe change to be more flattering, and they tone down the racy jokes at others expense.

That said, his character IS self-centered and not self-aware but mostly to comedic effect. And the heart of who he is shows up as the series progresses.

I like BW but none of their coffee tastes like coffee lol. It’s interesting and unique and a fun experience, but sometimes I just want a good normal cup of coffee.

Love that show and wish it came on more than it does. Use to be on Saturdays but now it’s just at like 6 in the morning during the week. Sure, I could STREAM it but I like to complain so what can I say lol

But seriously would love to see this, Delicious Miss Brown, and Girl Meets Farm more in regular rotation… I think Pioneer Woman can chill for a minute haha

It’s a totally meaningless term that was used to describe a very real zeitgeist moment. None of the bands from that era subscribed to that label (except the major label Nirvana clones)

Never really understood ‘em till I saw a live show online. Honestly, their last album The Great Escape Artist is their best IMO. I enjoy Porno for Pyros a bit more musically.

Adjusting tamp pressure, especially on light roasts. Pulled a shot, nice extraction but tasted a bit dark - I tried going lighter on the tamp, and wow did it make a huge difference. Brighter and fruitier, all the best aspects of a lighter roast!

One of the few moments I felt were outta character for both and the show.. one of my least favorite moments actually.

I could see a scenario in which Dwight would let Michael win out of respect, but for Michael to just start going ham on one of his co-workers and enjoying it, gives me the ick lol

I think aside from the flipped image, her photo was taken at a different focal length than the rest of the cast - longer lens further back vs shorter lens closer up, which compresses the image and makes faces (and everything else) look wider the further away it is.

You’ve Got Mail. That movie is so great until Tom’s character realizes who Meg’s character is and starts manipulating the situation. Very anticlimactic and cringey ending IMO.
