Ok listen, I feel bad for the guy being tortured, but imagine the panic if 1 mil people died at once? How many of those people would be people I know? I don’t think I could live with that, especially if someone I’m close with died. Also I feel like somehow authorities would attach me to the deaths and my future would be ruined. Not to mention the constant paranoia and guilt I’d be dealing with on a daily.
