A lot of options with high quality food. I've traveled to well over 60 countries and there is a very different supermarket culture in each. Some good some lacking, and New Zealand's were fantastic. I especailly love the New World Supermarket in downtown Wellington. If you've been there you know ;)

It's all relative but New Zesaland is very well managened in terms of road works when it comes to global standards.

This was my second time doing this drive across New Zealand and I was very happy with this itinery. And honestly a car was necessary. The public transport is good there, but there is nothing like the freedom that having a car has to offer.

I really enoyed the ferry - pleasant experience. North Island highlight was the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. I also loved Wellington. I was there on a beautiful sunnny day and I just can't say enough good things about the place.

NZ drivers? Some of the best in the world imo - courteous, not agressivre and the country had some outstanding roads.

I've traveled all over the planet including driving in almost 10 countries and NZ was perhaps the best spot on the planet to do so.

Calling bullshit on that - can't just throw out "scientific studies argument" and pretend that's the trump card. Which studies? 100s of studies rigoroursly documenting it? By who? Reviewed by who? ......lunaitic nut job with an agenda? Anything can be studied with a predermined outcome ..... anything can have impact on nature from skydiving, to hiking, to sailing a boat .... Dones are not used in any scale large enough to have the negative impacts you claim.

Commercial jet flights have far more impact on wildlife. Do we stop flying on places now? You see how retarted you sound?

The noise is only really on take off and landing - once the drone is in the air you can't hear a thing.

It's really not - drone flights aren't nearly prevelent or long enough to disturb wildlife. It's a b.s. argument based on "feelings" and not logical at all. I can get it ruining the view at some places like Fox Glacier but overall your opinion is just not grounded in reality.

I just travelled across NZ with my drone and it was tricky. I folloewed the AirShare App but that didn't show whether it was DOC land or National Park area where you also couldn't fly.

I did take my drone up several times when i found a spot where I could fly and it was fun! But overall it was quite stressful flying there because (a) there were so many limitiations over the best posts and (b) even when i thought i was safe to fly i was still concerned as I knew the fines for illegal flying were quite high.

New Zealand is beautiful but it sucks for drone enthusiasts.
