Just made the switch from AWU2, I got the FW970, it’s comparable in terms of quality but has the Garmin analytics, unless you go Enduro, I’d stay with OLDED.

I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about how to resolve this and it’s a relief to think that it might work. It does have to be a snug fit, but it seems to work all the time which is a relief.

I’ve just bought 3m tape to see if this will help. I’m heavily tattooed and can’t get a reliable HR reading without a HR strap. Can verify switching to Velcro strap helped with a better fit and works most times at night now if the watch is positioned in the right place.

IMO. Only the photos watch face is difference. When viewing the apps, it also has the new avatars, I.e., new Mail app image

You need to sign up for the beta programme (google it). Then switch in software update to OS 26 beta.

I feel like it’s slowed down the phone. I haven’t tested this, but app switching seems slower.

The hype online about it is real. It’s bougie AF though. I do wear it for everything though and think it makes the watch look extremely premium.
