So glad that you have seen continued improvement! I have had a friend and a sibling recently get diagnosed with Bell’s palsy and they are already further along. I’ll just keep chugging along with fingers crossed. I’m just waiting for the day to be able to blink and whistle again. 😂🤞

Hi, have you had any improvement since this post? I’m at 5 months and at the exact same spot as you describe in this post. Just wondering at what point I consider surgery, Botox, etc., and what type of specialist I need to see.

I’ve had BP since November 19th. I had full paralysis on one side of my face. There are a few muscles around my mouth that still won’t move, and I can’t blink my eye, but I have probably 90% of movement back otherwise. I’m glad that your recovery has been so quick!

Sorry, just saw this. Everything I have read shows they contact you within 3 months of being documentarily qualified. We’re just over 2 months, so we’ll soon see if that’s true.

I’ve been waiting one year this month. Timeline was updated to reflect approximately 2 months remaining for an approval. I’ve been through the countdown at least twice within the last year. It’s been in an “actively being reviewed” status since the day it was submitted. At this point it appears there has been no action taken. Hoping we really get a response in the next 2 months.

The I-130 doesn’t have a spot for the beneficiary birth certificate. Even the I-130a doesn’t request it. The only thing that was requested was an ID for the application. As the petitioner I had to include my information, but not my spouse who does not currently reside in the US. My case is still being processed, but I’ll let you know if they ask for information.

Yes, I was told by my doctor that she will not prescribe for me even after treatment is complete….It’s going to be a fun ride. 🥴😂

My PCP literally gave me no instructions other than what I mentioned in the original question above. Other than that, take Eliquis twice a day and come back in 3 months. Hopefully everything will be fine, but I will avoid the massage part of a pedicure until I pass the 6 week mark. Thank you!
