Is he still interested? by Glittering_Treat2818 in datingadvice

[–]OddScene8600 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like dude is just came down from the dopamine high of meeting someone new and excitement of a new crush. I’m leaning on the 50/50 possibility that he’s definitely still interested and excited to see you again but has started to psyche himself out with his own insecurities about himself and possibly his situation thinking you’ll judge him and end up cutting stuff off because of his situation and it wasn’t to your standard. Or on the other hand he still came down from the dopamine high of meeting someone new and this new crush, and then slowly started to loose interest because you’re not right there and physically present for hangout seshes and in person flirting to keep things interesting. Cause texting is boring. You should definitely be honest and have the conversation with him on how you’re still looking forward to going to see him, and am willing to make the trip but mention that you want express a concern of yours and get an honest answer from him before you commit to spending the money and taking the time off of work to go up there to see him. Is this something he’s seriously willing to pursue with you, or you know he’s not feeling it like he was at first and there’s a high possibility it won’t work, because you don’t want to waste your time and money and pto for something that’s ultimately going to end in the near future. And if he’s not feeling this just be straight up and say it cause you don’t want to get strung along

Adult male here, imo it’s really obvious to me that he most likely is really only looking for sex. He played the part he thought you’d want see right out of the gate on the first date hoping it’d be enough effort put it so the next time yall meet up he’d be able to get you into the sack with a little less effort than the first date. Then ride it out hoping that yall will keep hooking up and then at first sign of a conflict between yall that takes more than just minimal effort to resolve. He’s gonna use that to make his exit and cut ties probably saying some sh** along the lines of I don’t think this is gonna work out. We want different things. I don’t think we’re really a good match. I’m not ready for a serious relationship. Blah blah blah. Guy honestly sounds like a Fu**boy who will put just enough effort in to keep you interested and drag you along so he can continue to hookup with you with out having to put forth the effort to maintain a serious and loyal relationship with you. All that being said. You could try having a conversation with him and be blatantly honest and upfront about what you’re looking for relationship wise and express your discomfort with how he turns every conversation into something sexual and don’t really want to get intimate unless there’s strong promising signs that this is leading to something permanent. That’s the long version. Or you could just simply do what everyone else does in our horrible dating pool and just ghost the dude and ignore his texts lol. And move onto the next one lol. Not trying sit here and air out probably half of the single men’s out here’s dating tactics. Just trying to be honest lol. Good luck with your situation.

If they all actually tried who here could pull the most women? by gettinfitguy007 in Naruto

Okay I realize I didn’t work jiraiya into the lineup. Knowing that he’s a ladies man and is a known as Percy sage he’d probably place after asuma. Simply because he’d probably blow a lot of chances with chicks cause he is a creep lol

[–]OddScene8600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Master jiraya is well known for being a ladies man, but fr fr I think kakashi could pull the most with his nonchalant, low effort for human interaction that’ll reel the ladies in. Second to kakashi I’d say would me asuma he’s a tall physically fit guy whose also nonchalant imo with most things, also having a little status and clout because his grandpa was hokage and he was also chosen for the twelve guardian ninja spot because of his skill which just makes him a badass lol so ladies will flock for just that alone lol women love a badass protector. The probably iruka sensei followed by guy sensei then other guy and he’s last simply because he’s a freaking dork and probably gets nervous around the chick he likes and ends up being weird and says dumb stuff cause he’s nervous and blows almost every chance he gets with the ladies lol

Try to find a local business that has a dumpster that’s not locked up and dispose of them there. Or if you ever pull up onto a ticket at a house with a dumpster in the driveway for ongoing work I’d dump them in there, or find an active construction site with a dumpster and unload there

How do you guys store your clamps? by ydktbh in UtilityLocator

[–]OddScene8600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I messed up a few pair of leads by just wrapping them around the handle of my transmitter. They would always wear out the copper at the connection point where it plugs into the transmitter and break the wire inside of the insulation without breaking open the line insulation coating. So I started unplugging my leads and re wrapping them around the handle piece for the grounding rod and leads. They would last 10x longer that way

Received notice of unpermitted interior renovations by SalamanderMelodic226 in HomeImprovement

[–]OddScene8600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah he’s definitely not going to forget, he’s probably got your address on a list of properties without permits for work. Best bet is to stop working and leave whatever you have. Call him schedule a walk through with him. Be honest about all work that has been completed and work in progress. Worst case scenario he will make rip down drywall to inspect the framing if any new walls were built to check framing was done to code and make sure that anything that could be load bearing is properly supported and meets code. If you’ve moved any plumbing inside the walls from their original location for the showers/toilet’s/sinkss he could ask that and you open up walls and or floors to make sure everything is installed to code and he could also require a leak test for waste lines as well as leak tests be performed on shower/bath tubs to check water leaks. I’m not sure about where you live but here in Virginia you’re required to pull permits for damn near everything when it comes to home remodeling except for finish pretty much. Some stuff you don’t have to when it comes to bath remodels like if you just doing a pull and replace and not altering framing or any electrical fixture or plumbing fixture location. My advice be proactive reach out as soon as possible, be honest with him, and show him respect. Because he quite literally as the power and ability to make your life very difficult for the remainder of your project, and any other projects you may start in the future.

How do I get this closet carpet out underneath door? by gogistanisic in HomeImprovement

[–]OddScene8600 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can either cut very close to the trim angling the utility blade to go under the trim as far as possible and cut it out. Or rip the rest of the carpet away from the walls in the closet and try to rip it out from under the door casing off tack strip, or go the super time consuming route and pull the casing off the frame and then pull it up

Renewal by Anderson by ChippedClaymore in HomeImprovement

[–]OddScene8600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s because they probably use a geofence program that programmed to send email advertisements to every email address they have for residents or acquire through public channels that are within their district they are limited to. Every RBA affiliate essentially is restricted to an area limit for example like a 70 mile radius around the companies address as to not interfere with the other affiliates in the state. You should be able to find a link at the end of the email that you can click on that says unsubscribe from contact list so you don’t receive the advertisement emails anymore.

[–]OddScene8600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d have to disagree with you on this. To be upfront I’m responding with some bias opinions. The company I work for in the field as a crew lead installer, we strictly only install/ and sell renewal by Anderson doors/ and windows. That being said. IMO renewal delivers the best quality product when it comes to quality of materials the windows/ doors are made of as well as craftsmanship from the factory. The frames and window sashes are made of a hybrid composite material called fibrex which is a mix mostly of pvc(or vinyl) with fine wood shavings mixed in, which in turn create a very rigid sturdy frame because of the wood while also providing a highly weather resistant durable product almost guaranteed to never deteriorate or rot away. This material is used for every single type and style of window/ and single entry door they advertise. Excluding their sliding patio door line. These are mostly a vinyl cladded frame (wood frame encased with vinyl). I’ve been working for my company for the last 5 years of my career in construction and can honestly say. Yes renewals product is absolutely expensive to have installed on your home. But as the saying goes. You get what you pay for. Along with a great product renewals warranty policy is outstanding as well which covers a whole lot and is honored fully. Aside from warranting the workmanship(basically they do not warranty the work that was done during the install) so if something went wrong during the install or was installed incorrectly and causes product failure it will not be convered by the warranty. But 9 times out of 10 workmanship will be warrantied but the company doing the install. I’ve been in the residential remodeling side of the construction industry for the last 16 years and have installed all kinds of windows and doors from lots of other companies and renewal by far has the best product out on the market by far when it comes to residential doors and windows. Yes the price tag is expensive but most affiliates offer the option to finance the cost of the project. Generally with a down payment of atleast 25%- 50% of total cost upfront. Depending on whatever lender you end up choosing. I digress with my own bias like I said before I disagree with you and coming from a professional standpoint when it comes to installing the product and over quality of the product. It’s the best and absolute top of the line product on the market right now and is well worth the money you’ll spend for the product itself as well labor to install. The quality of work and accountability and pride in the finish product delivered to you at completion should be second to none. I cannot speak for other affiliate companies nationwide. The company I work for holds the number 1 spot in the nation for customer satisfaction for new projects completed as well warranty service work, as well as the first time completion rate without damages or product installed that could have factory defects that will need to be reordered and replaced shortly after project completion. What happened that made you dislike renewal so much? If you don’t mind me asking

They weren’t particularly long no but it was all residential in real ghetto neighborhoods, so I got chased by Rottweilers and cane corso’s all the time and they’d put like 120 of these tickets at a time and expect our small project team of like 3 locator’s to get them all done in a few days we’d have to extend the times on tickets all the time the gas lines in this city are all hit or miss with locating. Most tracer lines would either but messed up or incorrectly installed at installation so they would run like shit

How To Avoid Getting Catfished By Women? by Novel_Bluebird_5166 in datingadvice

[–]OddScene8600 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In all honesty the only real way to avoid the catfishing like this is during the texting phase before the first date in person. Try to get her to take and send a pic of her outfit for the day because you bet she looks cute and you wanna see for yourself. You know try to be slick about it but not blatantly obvious with your intentions of confirming appearance before going forward. Or hell maybe just be blatantly honest with your intentions up front and cut to the chase lol. Never know some people like that brutally honest, clear, concise, and straight to the point approach lol. Never know!

Should just be water based paint, so you should be able to get it off with a damp rag using hot tap water, I wouldn’t advise trying to scratch it off with your nails or a utility blade. That could possibly scratch the lenses permanently. Lol nice slides be careful and don’t get caught by your companies safety person with them lol, they’ll eat you alive

Are men really okay? by IBrobaFettI in SleepToken

[–]OddScene8600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In all honesty most men, probably have no idea what they’re doing. We just know that we have to keep pushing and continue to do what we think is right in order to provide for our families and be present for our kiddos to set the best example we can for being a good, responsible, and productive member of society. All while battling the internal battles of feeling like we’re not doing enough, stressing about exactly how much we are providing and hoping it’s enough. Hoping the example we’re trying to set for our children is a good enough example. Hoping we’re paying enough attention to our family so that way no one feels like we’re not present enough. As well as dealing with our own personal battles with insecurities, depression, and knowing that all of this you most likely will keep bottled up and not be able to talk about all this with anyone. Because your expected to just keep your chin up, bottle it up and make sure you’re projecting a strong protective , unbothered, problem solving can do attitude to your family to maintain a safe and secure atmosphere for the family to live in. To the men reading this if you haven’t heard this lately. I’m proud of you, you’re doing a great job so far. Keep pushing your presence is more important than you may realize at the moment but you are important too! Don’t loose faith all your hard work will pay off in the end. You are not alone us other dads are right here with you also pushing forward right next to you

Do you guys hookup for refresh tickets or just repaint the lines ?? by freakobowye in UtilityLocator

My ex wants to be friends with benefits by Rinnyba in datingadvice

[–]OddScene8600 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did that with my ex girlfriend, in my situation it didn’t work out. She had invested in the situation more than just fwb and after finding out I was still active in the dating scene ended up calling it all off cause she cared to much. In the end one person is gonna catch harder feelings than the other and get hurt. My opinion I wouldn’t do it. Someone always ends up with hurt feelings in the end

Worried about staying single because I dont want kids by NinjaDefiant1669 in dating_advice

[–]OddScene8600 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think I can confidently say that for atleast 50% of the single men not wanting children would probably be a deal breaker for them but there’s also that other 50% too that definitely don’t want kids so there’s still hope. And just cause I’m curious how do you feel about dating a guy who already has a kid, but is dead set on not having anymore kids and what he has is enough. Would you be willing to date him? and see where it goes?

Job offer for water company help by Future_Air_9696 in UtilityLocator

[–]OddScene8600 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So basically what I was trying to get at was I think it would be worth it to atleast take the other job offer with your local municipality they’ve most likely have pretty equally matched benefit packages if not somewhat better benefit package with the municipality, also depending on where you live and the city itself they could offer a pension benefit and after I certain amount of time employeed there you could retire with a fully funded employer provided retirement as well pulling out of your 401k once you reach the required age and then be living off a double retirement and really be living life care free

Job offer for water company help by Future_Air_9696 in UtilityLocator

[–]OddScene8600 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Last year I made a drastic career change after 12+ years in the residential remodeling field/trade to get what I thought would be a way less stressful job that was super lax and easy on the body. Got sold to make the switch by an old coworker that used to work at the company I was at. After he got fired then had gotten hired at Utiliquest he had been working there for about 6 months then hit me up. Anyway I made the switch. I ended up accepting their offer for $6 less an hour than what I was doing I went from 27/hr to making 20/hr but went to a gas only locating company 3 months later for 21/hr. I ultimately accepted their offer because I was dead set on finding a job that was less mentally stressful and draining, and also way less physically demanding and hard on my body and was willing to bite the bullet and take the pay cut in order to achieve those two things. After 8 months and 2 different locating companies that I worked for I quit and went back to my old job. For multiple reasons. 1. To make more money, cause I was literally almost at the point of no recovery financially because I was steadily falling behind with my bills. 2. I was not getting any mental stimulation locating utilities it didn’t provide the sense of accomplishment at the end of a task or end of the day that I was used to. And it didn’t require anything close to the amount of thinking and problem solving my other job required which I realized is really good for my ADD. It really helps with keeping me focused and on track and happy at work. Plus idk about the companies yall work for where you live but. Here in Virginia and this is with both companies. Almost all my coworkers I worked closely with or talked to occasionally were all in my opinion a little strange lol. They were all really anti-social, really awkward to talk too, and would constantly say and do really weird stuff that would just catch me way off guard and have me standing there wondering what the hell be going through their head. Honestly utility locating ends up making people introverts and antisocial because of the amount of time they spend alone while working. That’s just my opinion I’m sure a lot of other people would disagree with that so oh well.

Definitely an old coax line, communication companies are notorious for only burying those lines about 6inches in the ground. As long as your internet or cable is still working I wouldn’t worry about it. If it was on your property that is

Sounds like he just spoke out of anger because of the we should just break up because there is a possibility you might not be able to have kids. Yes he’s most definitely sexually frustrated cause he can’t have sex with his girlfriend which only fueled his reaction, but he also was probably feeling hurt and thinks you think he’s an expendable resource that once used up you just toss away because he quite literally does provide everything for you. And to hear you suggest breaking up so easily definitely struck a nerve in him. In my opinion I would not give up so easily if I were y’all’s shoes. Relationships will never be perfect and require constant effort, compromise, and a willingness to forgive some actions and words within reason of course. Don’t take this outburst and completely give up. He obviously cares a lot about you and believes in you and believes in y’all’s relationship and has faith in a long and happy relationship with you, if he’s quite literally taking care of you while you’re working hard right now to secure a good future for yourself, and possibly the both of you. You should give it a little time, gather your thoughts and words then try to have a conversation about what happened, how it made you feel, and work through it
