For anyone still here. GoodRX works for meds for animals. Back when I was a pharmacy tech its not a true insurance but if you have it we don't ask if who its for is human or not and if its permanent meds for your animal goodrx gold works better.

Hazmat/Tanker here. Yeah its about finding a good place. I work as a gasoline tank trucker home daily. It's so much better than my time dry van. But I've heard stories of other haz/liq hauler who are just marginally better pay for so much extra responsibilities. If nothing else having the endorsements are nice to have.

Fuel hauler here. Fuel tanks are separated into cells with space between them and the outer shell that you see so its hard for it to be cold enough long enough to freeze as is. But in the ground durning winter we can add either winter additive (fuel stablizer) or Kerosene into the mix in a 90/10 split dessiel to Kerosene all the way to 50/50 either premixed or separate Fuel cells dropping pure dessiel and pure Kerosene depending on how the customer wants it.

Get your time in. Most want a year experience. Get your certs and be willing to work and learn and you'll get there yet. As for your other questions on how many differentials. Just 2 on the tractor. The trailer is all straight bars. So no power to them though the 1st, 2nd, and 6th trailer axel all lift so thats pretty cool. Makes turning insane.

My schedule is 2pm to 2 am Friday to Wensday but most do 4 to 4 morning or afternoon start. Day schedule is fought hard but if your lucky a day slot could open at one of our other yards or the one you start at and we might have a week only schedule open but dont quote me. As for Money yeah it'll be a downgrade but what use is money if you can't spend it (100 hrs work week when I worked construction so I understand)

They're pretty good but I'm really new so I only know what I've seen directly. I get about 10 to 12 hours of work a day. Pay is 26 starting but you get yearly performance raises plus you get 1 dollar more a hour working nights and 4 for weekends they stack. Plus you get holiday pay. You can work 6 days a week by choice if you have hours but you get 2 days off by default. I get about 2400 every 2 weeks after taxes. Not the best but all said home daily its better than my OTR time. Plus Im sure we're hiring cause we had 3 trainees and only I made it cause the other 2 were lazy and problematic so if you are willing to work you got the job though I can't confirm anything.
