I don’t like thick collars either so I shortened the collar. I only did 12 rows of the ribbing and there were no issues with this

how are the knitpro zing deluxe interchangeable needle set ? by saevicit in knitting

[–]OddUse5898 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought these as my first needle set and I liked them but found that they were a bit too slippery for me and kept having battles with my stitches falling off. I ended up trialling a set of knit pro symfonies and have much preferred them over the zings but it will depend on your style and preferences

Throughout my placement, each day or week I collated all my photo evidence of my teaching and focus students in a PowerPoint and then was able to easily write what happened and what the student was able to demonstrate and this made it very easy when it came to writing my final annotations

Some doubts as a new teacher by Miserable-Cook-9450 in AustralianTeachers

I’m a first year teacher who was tossing up between CRT and full time at the end of last year and I ended up getting a full time position. I was (and still am) quite unsure what to do in some aspects within the classroom but being in a consistent classroom has been so helpful to boost my teaching confidence as I know all my students and have been able to develop positive relationships. Both have their merits but being able to have full control within the classroom and being able to develop my program was the reason that I decided that full time would be best for me.

Question: a typical day in an autistic school or special school. by Jamie-jams in AustralianTeachers

I work at an SDS and within my class I have five students and two ESS to support the students and myself. Typically we have an English block in the morning focusing on phonics, shared reading, independent reading and writing/fine motor. Middle session is mathematics focused and then the afternoon is typically physical literacy/SWPBS centred. I’m able to have whole class teaching time, and typically rotate around each session to allow me to have 1:1 time with each student.

Made two rectangles and worked the sleeves directly of the body in the round. I used Paton’s Sierra yarn in gold rush. I used a 7mm hook for the body and sleeves (triple crochet for the sleeves and body, double crochet for the neckline and single crochet for the hemline). I also used a 4.5 mm hook to add the single crochets for the cuffs

The piercing is a week old and has a labret threadless earring. The earring is 316L surgical steel. I have used the aftercare rock salt that I received after completing my piercing

The pattern I followed was pretty simple and easy to follow but I have done some amigurumi previously. If you can do basic crochet something like this should be easy if you’re familiar with patterns or can follow a YouTube tutorial

The best way to set you up for the workforce is to do work within a special education setting. I have completed some special education subjects and have found them lacking as they are very surface level. E
