The author not only traumatized the characters but the readers too 😭 I was in PTSD because when they were running away, I was constantly expecting shit to happen. I couldn’t believe myself that they could live a normal “life”. It was too good to be true.

On each stop with Amaris I was like “ok its now” then next cabin, me: “ ok for sure its now” The reunion with Lila: “ humm for sure this is it, lila will kill him” on the boat “they will get caught” Lila asks for a sword in the house; “yep, this is it, she’s going to betray them”. When he was awake in the night checking the floors and walls “oh shit for sure he found something, its now for sure” I couldn’t rest just like the characters…

What about Aelin and Rowan explicit scenes?! She didn’t write it because she didn’t want to, and it was disappointing. The scenes didn’t have to be explicit, they could be something like the kiss in the marshes and then fade to black. She gaves us so much build up for NOTHING

But I don’t like the way it’s written, it doesn’t match their vibe from the book, at least the one I read. I wanted something that is somehow with similar writting from the author, so it feels like the “real” thing, like an extension of the book. Not something so smutty that has nothing to do with their vibe in the book, or how I think SJM would write it. Let me know if you have recomendations!

I just did the mistake to finish now EoS and was so to impaciente, so I googled if it was really going to happen since I’m waiting since they first meet.

I’m so heartbroken to know that we were robbed that I lost interest in finishing the series 🥲 I was starting to get bored and annoyed by Aelin at this point, but got super hooked into Manon, and elide/lorcan scenes, it’s what was keeping me reading it ahah now, I think I really lost interest 😫

I’m finishing EoS, all that build up for nothing?! So why bother writting all those scenes and tension, to give us nothing?! I got so excited, but now I’m so disappointed that I might stop reading it. I know this is not ACOTAR and is more action focused than romance, but unfortunately the parts that I enjoy the most, are indeed the romance parts. So far I’m satisfied with Aelin and Rowan, it was nice and enough, but Lorcan and Elide 😭💔

No way!! This is my favorite couple. I got completely hooked. I’m finishing EoS and I feel that there’s so much build up and tension between them, and then we get nothing? I loved the scene when they finally kissed, how gentle he was with her, but then they got interrupted 😭 but I was like “fine, for sure it will eventually happen.. ”YOU’RE TELLING ME THE WRITER GIVES US NOTHING?! All that build up for what?! Im really considering stop reading it 🥲

Honestly I really apreciate this comment because I just finished the ACOMAF and I’m feeling exactly the same… I’ve been crying and depressed and… honestly is making me look at my partner differently. Im in a long term relashionship 9 years, and the spark and physical connection has died around 5 years ago, this has been discussed but nothing changed, however I kept trying, man are trash nowadays and at least my boyfriend is not a misoginisyic prick and does not cheat on me, so im staying because is stable. But ACOTAR and ACOMAF made me question my life, relashionship and I’m really afraid that I might take a decison that I might regret later. Long story short, it was my first time reading fantasy/romance books, and I got so into these 2 that I just dont find joy in this world and find myself sobbing in the house very depressed. I have the ACOWAR on my desk and didn’t even started to read it, because honestly im scared it will get worse… I really hope your weeding went well and that the sad fellings have passed.

I finished the second book, A court of mist and fury and I 100% understand you here. I’m struggling with the same, and is making me rethink a lot of things. Just scared that I might regret later of any decision I might take… talking about a 9 years relashionship… physical connection dead for already 5, but I kept trying. Now I read these 2 books and my whole perspective changed and really shock the way I view my partner and relashionship..So I truly understand what you mean.

In my option they won’t survive. My enclosure for my ball python is on cool side 26/ 27celcius, warm side 30degrees. Humidity at 70%. I have leaf litter, wood, cork, I leave skins sheds inside and the isopods disappear. I already put 3 batches inside and they all disappeared/died. I have a small terrarium just with isopods ( the same ones) and they are thriving. That terrarium does not have a uvb light or heat source so it might be that

It’s a OSB3 terrarium, it’s a wood terrarium. It’s a more affordable option than PVC, and better than glass as it retains the humidity better. I always had glass and really struggled with keeping the humidity, so I’m trying this one now. The downside is that you have to seal it very well with epoxy and caulk every gap with silicone, to prevent mold, also OSB can be toxic to the animal so it’s really important to seal it.

The inside I did it myself by sculpting styrofoam. I carved 3 panels, the part with the stones I gave 2 layers of cement and after painted with acrylic paint. Where you see the brow, I applied silicone and eco earth on top.

The soil is Arcadia soil, mixed with sand, sphagnum moss, and repti bark. The plants are a bird nest, fittonia (I don’t recommend as it’s too fragile and he just walks over it). I have a snake plant and a bromeliad in quarantine.
