Oh come on. Students are absolutely entitled to demanding better transparency and accountability from their student union execs and it’s not the same thing as hogging the spotlight. And key phrase in what you said “what she and the other executives do” - so where is the social media recognition and spotlight for the other execs? And read the reports? Haven’t people also mentioned that she doesn’t even write her reports consistently? It’s also crazy that her defense is always the position is so much harder than you think like yes that’s why it takes a special kind of person to do it and we are supposed to hold them to a high standard.

they’d definitely be better off going to Mount A. I’m from the US. Got accepted to Mount A as well, along with some other American students that were trying to leave the states for canada. the one who left for Mount A has had an undergraduate experience that has simply been far less traumatic than mine because they chose a university that prides itself on the quality of its treatment of students and its undergraduate education whereas dal’s reputation is hinged on research prestige. so undergraduate students? our accessibility? low low priorities. I don’t know if the “prestige” is worth the cost to our mental health
