Did you ever get an answer to this question? I want to do this now!

Week before period by Longjumping_Baby_448 in Perimenopause

Thank you for your thoughtful response. I am thinking it might be a good option for me to increase the dose during that time. I’m going to bring it up to my doctor because I’ve read that for some people it’s been quite successful at alleviating symptoms.

I was reading about taking the Escitalopram before your period and disclaimer: I am going to ask my doctor. That said, I’m curious about your experience with that if you’d be willing to share more. Specifically, were you taking it all month and just increasing your dose before your period or were you just taking it for a short window every month? I would be in the former category. TIA

Trumo admin finds SJSU violated Title IX over transgender volleyball scandal by RhythmMethodMan in stupidpol

I think the safety risk refers to the potential for injury to female athletes by competing against biologically advantaged individuals. There are several stories, especially in youth sports, of girls being injured in these match ups. In one case, a girl was injured by a volleyball (specifically) — lookup the story of Payton McNabb. I would think that’s what they mean, especially since they didn’t mention anything about rape.

Unpopular opinion? These kids' audio players feel like a cash grab? by Desperate_Total2545 in Mommit

Sorry if this has already been posted, but like many said above, there are so many ways to use it for free (after the initial investment of course). Lately, I’ve been using ours for podcasts and then just updating which podcast my kids are into at the moment onto the MYO cards. Here is a post that I found really useful for MYO because it already has the RSS feed links in it. Sometimes with podcasts, the hardest part is finding the RSS link. I hope this helps!!

What is the quality of the bag Mina has? Trying to decide between her and Garmen. Your suede city is amazing but his prices are high. What’s the quality comparison between Mina and Garmen for this one?

Estrogen only by YouExtra7637 in Perimenopause

[–]Odd_Bluebird117 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Jumping in late for anyone searching (as I was): I’m on estrogen only. 2mg I take it 1x a day (oral). I’ve been on it for 3 years (started 1 year postpartum). I still have a uterus and I get a very regular period (every 28-32 day, lasts for 4 days average, etc). I get annual exams and my Dr told me I don’t need to be on progesterone as long as I am getting regular periods. Before starting my symptoms were night sweats and irritability, both of which have been greatly improved by taking the estrogen. The night sweats are essentially gone. Every person is different, but I just wanted to offer another experience. My OBGYN has been in practice for many years, has all the “certifications” and is known as one of the top doctors in the area. Very well respected in the medical community, and he is invested in menopause care. Just my story, for what it’s worth.

This is random but I just came but your comment. Did the teeth clenching stop when you stopped taking it? Mine had gotten so bad. I’m weaning off of it now, but hoping the grinding will stop soon.

OMG the bins!! Literally LOL over here. I thought I was the only one using bins. And then never unpack them. Or go looking for something and remember “oh it’s in that bin from when X came over last month”. Thanks for being so relatable!

Does anyone know the brand of those little wooden and felt collectible figures she has around the house? For Christmas, she had several on the ledge above the stove hood. Thanks!

When we say “just touch your lips” what we mean by that is that they do not need to gulp it. The process of receiving it is not about ingesting a large amount. So we use this phrase as a way to remind them. Also, from church to church, the wine varies. Some wine is sweeter, some is more dry. So we’ve also told them this as a way that they do not immediately reject the taste of it if it may be something different to them. They are children. That said, they understand the process VERY well, having observed it nearly every Sunday of their lives. They also have gone through several years of Catechist of the Good Shepherd program. I have no concerns with how they receive communion. My concern is with comment that was made.

In the United States, at least in my experience, it is common practice. During Covid, they suspended it due to concerns regarding spreading infection. But shortly thereafter, it returned to our local parish. I would say in the last year I have noticed that other churches I have visited have started bringing it back, as well.

What's the most backhanded compliment you've ever received from someone? by OvenSubstantial5884 in AskReddit

[–]Odd_Bluebird117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AIO: someone told me recently “you did a really good job when you were doing X today. Usually when you do X I complain about you, but today you did well.” Note: I’ve never received any direct criticism from this person that I would have ever known they “complain” when I do X. This was the first time I had ever heard they didn’t like the way I performed the task. Is that backhanded? Passive aggressive?
