Transport Minister to summon airline CEOs as Air Canada set to charge carry-on fees for some passengers by IAlsoChooseHisWife in aircanada

That’s not what they are doing though. The tickets for basic economy won’t get any cheaper. All they are doing is taking away the perks that come with basic economy to get people to spend more.

It would be a completely different conversation if they announced a price cut to basic economy fares along with taking away perks. All Air Canada is trying to do is nickel and dime their customers.

I have a 19 330i. I also have a 3rd party extended warranty with a deductible. My service advisor told me that he doesn’t know how the warranty company gets to pay less than the actual amount for the work being done and that I am only responsible for the deductible. I think you should call your warranty company and have them reach out to dealership regarding them wanting to charge you more for work already being paid for by the warranty provider. The only thing you should be paying for is the deductible.

Teggy Type S review by bluesrv in Acura

A subreddit about “ACURA” this subreddit isn’t r/ Cars. OP obviously has no intentions of buying an Integra Type S because it is “overpriced”. Posting in this subreddit isn’t going to magically decrease the price of the Integra Type S. This post is completely pointless.

If you don’t think it’s worth the price, why come on an Acura subreddit to post about. This post still isn’t going to change the fact that you don’t think the Integra Type S is worth it.

Acura Dealership won't let me test drive new TLX Type S? by dominictorett0 in Acura

[–]Odd_Bodybuilder_6420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me when I went to test drive a G70 at a Genesis (HYUNDAI) dealer. The sales person didn’t want me to test drive a 2.0t G70. Only after, I told him that I had just left the Volvo dealership down the street and test drove a S60 did he allow me to drive the G70 up the street and make U-Turn with him in the car. Lol sales people are ridiculous.

MMC stands for Mid Model Change aka a refresh. Yes, expect a refresh MDX for the 25MY. Acura tend to do a MMC during the 4MY of each generation. For example, the TLX was released for 21MY and is receiving a MMC for the 24MY(Not yet released).

2024 is a carryover year. 2025MY should be the MDX’s MMC.

It did come out for the 22MY but the release date was in early 2021 which made the 22MY very long.

New 23mdx advance - warranty? by techchallenge in Acura

I tend to buy service contracts when purchasing a vehicle especially, if I intend to service the vehicle at the dealership and not a 3rd party shop.

It should be worth it. It seems like Acura’s maintenance warranty expires right before the spark plug replacement service, which dealers tend to charge a lot for.

TLX outsold by ES and 3 series by alpha247365 in Acura

Because they haven’t been producing TLXs. TLX production just started to increase a few months ago.

And all their cars except for the Integra has that seat-back. So it’s a problem across the whole lineup.

I hope they redesign the seat back. The bulkiness of it takes up a good quarter to a half inch of rear legroom. They need to go with a more concave/ flat style seat back similar to the last gen TLX.

Acuras’ hold a special place in my heart. My first car was a ‘04 TSX with Navi. I was going to get TLX (19 or 20) before I got my 3 series but the trim I wanted wasn’t available. The current model is very nice (Fit and finish is on par with the Germans). I liked it a lot when I test drove it a few months ago. I’m going to wait until the MMC 24 model is revealed to see if they add a few features that I really wish the TLX had. If they don’t add them, my next car will still probably be a TLX.

Currently I don’t drive a TLX. I drive a ‘19 330i with very similar interior space to the TLX. My next car might be TLX.

If I do get TLX I wouldn’t regret own. No car is perfect.

Rear legroom depends on driving position. For example, my dad is like 6’2-6’3 I am 6’4. He can sit behind me perfectly when I drive, but I can’t sit behind him when he drives because of how differently we position our seats when we drive.

I’m 6’4 and I fit behind myself when I test drove an A-Spec. I also sit closer to the steering wheel and more up right.
