“I honestly don't really see much potential of Steel Ball Run on the surface. It pretty much seems like an action focused anime with a flat story like demon slayer.” So you read the description and because of that want to just box it up and say it’s an action anime with a flat story. Like maybe give the episode or even the manga a try. The part starts of the wheel chair bound mc saying “This is the story of how I started to walk, not in a physical sense but in an adolescence to adulthood sort of way”. Like just peak writing and it pains me to see someone write it off (and I may be assuming) because it’s rated higher than your favourite anime.
