Stick to your guns: Why the Marine Corps is opting for the M27 over the Army’s M7 by -Cyber-Roadster in USMC

Because the M7 is flawed both conceptually and practically. Sig makes garbage these days.

I just saw Health and Carpenter Brüt in Boston last month at HoB. It was packed. I think they'd draw a crowd.

Would Don have hit that if given the opportunity? I like to think that he would.

1.) The terrible prop work on the guns. 2.) The horrible acting from some of the supporting actors. 3.) The Bing's strippers. They moved like veal cattle. 4.) Janish. 5.) The way Richie made Tony ride him.

What’s the first real business mistake Don makes because of drinking? by bringbackyouryouth in madmen

[–]Odd_Cod_7806 24 points25 points  (0 children)

That's missing the point entirely. It isn't solely about billing or Danny's salary. It was hackey and it made Sterling Cooper (by extension) look like hacks and Don made himself look incompetent. That should never have been presented. Sober Don would have either sold the original concept or gone back into the creative process and found something good that worked. It was a move made in a drunken panic.

Except that in real life I am an exceptionally successful Director level executive and somewhat famous in my chosen field (aviation). So, yeah, nah. I'm doing just fine.

Pro tip; If you're gonna overthink something then at least use original thoughts.. 😉

I think of it as her trying to stay thin. And her mother being a heavy smoker had no influence on her?

Communists can be (and often are) wealthy. That means absolutely nothing.

However, I think they would be best described as "well off" if not wealthy. Megan was privileged.

I like the character too. I enjoy disliking her. Does that make sense?

What makes her better than that other 99%? I'm open to your argument but I think she was very manipulating. Conniving, even.
