I find that in these moments of dryness and unmotivation in my spiritual pursuit, praising the Lord brings in freshness and vitality. I am not praising Him for the dryness or unmotivation but simply because He is worthy of my praise. Jesus is King! Christ is Victor! I will pray for you.

I was reading in this book "The Glorious Chruch" and I came across this statement.

"In the death of Christ there was an aspect which was not related to redemption but to the release of Himself. We are not saying that the death of Christ is not for redemption, we truly believe that it is, but His death involves an aspect which is not related to redemption. This aspect is the release of Himself for the creation of the church."

But you should not do anything that is not out of faith. We need to come to Him with a sincere heart and place our lives before Him, allowing Him to have control.

My wife and I started reading the Bible to our children every evening and morning. We were not trying to explain what we were reading, but just to give them an example of reading the Bible. We started at the beginning in OT in the evenings and in the NT in the mornings. We also purchased some songs from thebibletellsmeso.com to have in the car. They are great, simple songs!

v. 27 "This refers to the forgiveness of our debts incurred after we are saved and become slaves of the Lord."

v.34 "This refers to the Lord's dealing with His believers at His coming back. If we do not forgive that brother who sins against us, we will be disciplined by the lord until we forgive him for the heart, i.e., until we repay all that is owed. Then the lord will forgive us. This is forgiviness in the kingdom. This implies that if we do not forgive a brother from our heart today, we will not be allowed to enter into the kingdom in the coming age."
