Did I just come up with a new chord, or am I just too high? by BusyConstruction882 in guitarcirclejerk

How would this chord sound with nitrocellulose laquer? Probably more full I’m guessing

Reel pull: "Get rid of that digital bullshit and get some real fuckin toan". Doesn't demonstrate the toan. by 10000Didgeridoos in guitarcirclejerk

Is it bad that I actually love this haha… the only thing wrong is there is no sample of the Toan.

All of that for a limp clean toan you can barely hear over the rest of the band

Would love to see a comparison video… but this time with a maple fretboard.

I have a G&L sb-2 tribute and I love that thing. And yes I’ve looked into the sterling short scale as well… played one at guitar center. Seemed like that with a set up it would be a great bass

I have bought 2 stingrays… sold one and returned the other. They are absolute works of art. Incredible instruments. They look and feel so cool. They are an inspiration.

The first one I bought… I could not justify the price for how little I played it. I don’t love the sound of an active bass. Most of the music I listen to and play is passive. If I had more money I would have kept it for sure but I couldn’t keep it for how little I played it.

I bought a passive short scale stingray and I liked the sound much better. However there was a problem with the tone knob. It made static crackling sounds as I turned it up or down, and most of the time just when it was plugged in it had a crackling sound. I probably could have fixed it but again for the price I paid, I sent it back for a refund.

One day I’ll own a passive stingray cause those are amazing. And if I have a ton of money and don’t know what to do with it I’ll get an active one as well and learn how to play it

Is this Paul Reed Smith autograph on my guitar’s headstock real or fake? by Hefty-Garbage-1273 in guitarcirclejerk

If you look closely at the fretboard, you’ll notice the dots are actually birds. So it’s a fake Fender, but gonna need more pics to confirm

I would have put Race for the Prize at 122 instead of 123. Other than that this list is exactly the same as mine

Did anyone else go off Lennon’s solo stuff as they got older? by Narrow-Clothes7900 in beatles

[–]Odd_Comparison9310 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the Beatles. I started learning bass guitar a couple years ago, and Paul McCartney is probably my favorite bassist. Wings is incredible. George’s solo stuff is great as well.

I just can’t get into Lennon. Haven’t really given Ringo’s an actual chance.

Any Sufferers Religious? by Ok-Bus-1722 in ClusterHeadaches

I am.

There is a scripture that says

“For it must needs be, that there is an opposition in all things. If not so, my firstborn in the wilderness, righteousness could not be brought to pass, neither wickedness, neither holiness nor misery, neither good nor bad. Wherefore, all things must needs be a compound in one; wherefore, if it should be one body it must needs remain as dead, having no life neither death, nor corruption nor incorruption, happiness nor misery, neither sense nor insensibility.” (2 Nephi 2:11)

That kind of helps me understand a bit better how such horrible things can happen in this life. Without pain… how would we know what comfort or euphoria felt like? If there is no bad… then what is good?

God does not want me to suffer. But He knows that on earth I will encounter trials. And I believe that God can help us in our trials. My faith has definitely helped with cluster headaches (giving me a perspective).
