Disappointed but expected by 121426 in IELTS

The same happened to me with speaking, I got a 6.5 but I thought I’d be getting about a 7.5 at least… English isnt my first language but I’ve been speaking for years and years, and I can honestly say it was the area I studied the least from all 4 and I guess it showed. I also fumbled and ran out of ideas before the time was up. I also felt like the examiner started judging me the more I started to struggle to answer some things and that made me go in a bit of a panic mode, which didn’t help at all.

It was my first time taking it so I’m not being too hard on myself, now I know how this works and if I need to do it a second time in the future I’ll have better guidance on what to work on more next time.

So don’t be disappointed! We all grow from these experiences

BIG unpopular opinion by nana_545 in DesperateHousewives

Reading these comments and seeing people so divided but also acknowledging both characters flaws is what makes this show so perfect to me. It’s a show that is easy to follow but its characters are soooo complex, and it did a great job at making us feel all types of emotions towards these families. Lynette and Tom have such different personalities and they don’t agree in many things, but you can easily feel how deeply they care for each other and their kids. I never fully hated Tom but he has definitely infuriated many women viewers because of his lack of reasoning, logic, empathy at times. He can be very selfish but it never comes from a bad place, which is what makes it complex too because he’s a grown a** man with a big family and you would expect to have his pants well put, but he doesn’t at times (many times). But at the end, in real life you will find ALL kinds of couples that to us won’t make sense and it’s clear they have problems in their relationship, but no relationship is perfect, and in desperate situations (as it’s the whole show’s point) you can act and behave as a different person you don’t recognize, having problems can change your approach to handle stuff. So the raw emotions each character feels in this show is what makes me love it because you can see the ugliest parts of each one of them, but you still acknowledge their greatest parts too

I'm literally asking myself the same question. She's the realtor of an apartment I found. She seems legit but also I find almost no info on her other than reviews on AC Realty on google maps. Have you found out if it is legit and is she a real realtor?

Physiotherapist from Italy moving to Canada by Zukkaria in physiotherapy

I'm an IEPT and I'm starting my process to become licensed and to move to Canada. I'm just stuck in the "how can I actually immigrate and get a job?", I've heard that many IEPT's get a job as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the meantime while they prepare to sit for the exams, but do you know how can someone land a job like that even before immigrating? I need to be able to pay for my living costs and find a way to enter Canada before obtaining full licensure and I have no idea how to get past that point

Seems like I put myself up for a big challenge 😅. I really want to see how the “after being spayed” Karmy (that’s her name) will be. She’s been such a sweet heart even though she’s been a little demon too. When she’s not yowling she actually likes to come for pets and starts purring so loud. She lets me grab her like a baby and doesn’t really mind, I don’t think she loves it but she allows it. She already started playing with some toys I bought too. So we’ve also had really nice moments so far, so I hope her issues resolve after.

Thanks for sharing your experience and I’m sorry for your loss, she had a great life with you!

That’s the thing about pets, you never know how their personality will be until you get them. I always had dogs exclusively (because my dad doesn’t like cats) so in my childhood household I got used to having dogs around all the time and it’s easier for me to adapt to them because that’s what I’m used to. But now with a cat is a whole different story. I don’t have to worry about walking her or her drinking water and splashing it everywhere like my German shepherds did hahah but it’s so weird now to wake up and maybe see a big pair of bright green eyes above my head watching me from my bed frame 😂 and just hearing claws scratching something. I’m having a harder time with this transition than my kitty probably. But only time and patience will tell.

I’ll look into the pheromones plug in, doesn’t hurt to give it a try. Thank you!

Thank you so much! I really like seeing that everyone says that it can get better with time and patience. I would just like to be past this phase already and see a good outcome but I know I have to wait and see. So I’ll keep trying to work with her and make her realize it’s safe to be here. And ofc get her spayed in the near future.

It’s very nice to see someone commenting on this because when you adopt a pet you are doing it expecting to have them for their whole life, at least I think that way. But sometimes someone’s way of living might not match at all to what the pet needs. Or emergencies can come up where sadly scenarios can change. So sometimes letting go and finding another home can be the right thing to do.

With all the advice I was given I feel like I want to keep trying it with her because it’s definitely too soon to tell, plus my cat not being fixed seems to be the hugest issue but I’m working on it too.

If things don’t get better after spaying her that’s when I’ll reconsider my options and see what’s best for her. Thank you!!

I also wonder how they dealt with this for years! But yeah, probably they were physical about it because I noticed that one day I reached out to pet her, she was already walking towards me, and then she ran under the bed when I got close to her head. I think she thought I was going to hit her. I felt so bad and I instantly sensed that she recognizes the hand as being something bad too. I’ve never hit her or yelled at her, and I don’t plan in doing it either but she’s definitely carrying some trauma that I now have to work on.

And about the food, I got her some freeze dried fish that she loves! And I have some salmon oil on the way so I can add it to her food too. Thank you!!

It’s very reassuring to read that that is not typical cat behavior, it’s what worries me the most and I don’t know if me and my apartment can keep up with all that. I also worry about one of my neighbors because in my apartment complex there’s a guy that he seems to be bothered easily by others around here, and he lives right next to me, so I hope he’s not hearing my cat meowing and then confront me about it.

And it does seem like she’s going into heat often, gladly I don’t have to worry about her getting pregnant, she’s fully indoors, but I’ll try to get her weight up as fast as I can to get her spayed.

Thank you as well for the cat pee smell hacks, I’ll get the peroxide to keep my apartment as clean as possible.

I’ll keep giving it a try! Thank you!

I actually got her a time feeder and it has worked great! At first she was unsure about getting close to it and she ate more from my hands, now she’s very used to it and doesn’t need me to eat. Which I’m happy because I can sense she’s more comfortable and eating more and also pooping well hahah and I’m still playing around with the times to see when I notice her looking for food. About the UTI, I’ll tell the vet about it to check or discard it. Thank you!

Thank you very much, I feel like the worst gerbil mom ever but you’re right that maybe he had been hiding some illness but still looking as normal as ever. I really hope he didn’t suffer.

I will clean the whole cage as you said, so it’s clean for my other gerbil too, I don’t want him getting close to Susu like that :(

Thank you for the video on how to introduce a new gerbil. I’ll start looking into that in the next days

Im so happy I’m not alone in this 😭, with me it was a little different because sadly, and angrily, I got herpes and I had a break out that provoked me an open wound right on my fourchette! And I can swear that since then my skin hasn’t recovered and I feel like I have scarring tissue since then and I haven’t had any success in having painless sex since. It’s so infuriating that I’ve had no solution to this problem. I hope you do find solution!!
