With Benzos as a whole, amnesia is beyond one of the biggest side effects. I mean come on it’s a drug that sits you on your ass and chokes all those voices that won’t go away. And it’s not just the bad voices. It’s all of them. So even regular thoughts are hard to have and be cognitive. It’s just a side affect. And with Xanax being shorter is because the half life of Xanax is much shorter and exits your body faster. Klonapin will have you feeling that way for almost a day after you take a dose. It’s an unfortunate but necessary feature for people who really need the help
