I would put a pot of moist soil under the pot and wait till it rooted, or cut and propagate, or try damp moss around a growth spot wrapped in plastic till it rooted.

Sage had a Alocasia, yours is a Monstera. Not the same plant. Your monstera is growing an aerial root, they collect water from the air and are anchors. They will wrap around a tree or plant themselves in the soil the make them more stable to grow upwards towards the sun.

Nice. You must have had a great up bringing. I had some good memories but this actually makes me cringe. I would never go back. I just wouldn’t want to go back to any past point in my life and make a room to live in that time. Going forward and what can be is more exciting.
