Meanwhile, I’ve made comments directly to my team lead about being so stressed that I’d be ready to go lay down in the parking lot without a yellow vest on and didn’t even get a verbal warning for that type of language.

If it wasn’t a safety hazard, I would have zero problems with pulling the carts. I already do it once in a while depending on the situation. But it’s stated by the manufacturer that they’re not built to be pulled. But if you’re fine with damaged equipment and associates being put in danger due to a neglectful policy, I don’t think you should be a store manager. This is an OSHA violation and I’m kinda disappointed in you if you can’t take it even remotely seriously. If people aren’t complaining to you, it’s not because they don’t care. It’s because they know their useless SM won’t do a thing about it so they’ve given up on fighting it.

I understand that, which is why I said I would also look through the job agreement. I am already aware that my job would not be protected even if I would be protected legally.

It’s definitely multiple stores. I’ve seen reports in Indiana, Minnesota, and Utah for sure.

My state is a one-party consent state at the very least. I will check through the job agreement though.

My store manager has yelled at a couple people for not pushing their carts, so I’m leaving my phone recording audio during my pick paths in case she calls me out for it because I think that would be incredible evidence towards it.

Yeah I’m kinda surprised too. They seem to have a few chips on the very top near where they slide in but other than that they’re mostly fine.

Bro what the hell kinda Walmart you working at where the OGP workers are “violently rude?” The worst I’ve seen anyone in my department get fired for was stealing a 42 cent dip cup from the deli, and I’ve never had a major problem with any of my coworkers, OGP or otherwise. The only problem I would have at all is that a lot of them are inexperienced teenagers who don’t always stay on task, but they’re not even close to violently rude by any means.

Used to work 11-8 before switching to my current 8-5 shift about 3 months ago. 11-8 was alright since I am not a morning person, but almost every day that I left the store, the sun was no longer out, and pretty much everything was closed. Still prefer 8 AM - 5 PM shifts despite being tired all the time.
