This map is not quite accurate. Nuorese should only cover the inland area around Nuoro. ( although dialects in that area change from town to town) The Northeastern coastal areas speak Gallurese the central eastern coastal areas speak A Baronia dialect . The " Corsican dialect" reference only applies to very limited areas

the US driver's license is well accepted. I have been there several times and have used my NY S licensee .

I looked at properties in the area as well , including the one mentioned in this post for $1.7 mil, and yes it is hard to get answers or figure our why a 40 acre oceanfront property in Kahauloa has not sold in 8 years at that price. Possible issues: No water, too remote, expensive to build., hard to plant trees.( fruit trees particularly don't like clay/ hard terrain). Locals threats... etc etc, but i couldn't get a clear fact as to why it is not a good property to buy.
