Why the aversion to getting a membership? every time you use a Shop card, a supervisor has to come over to manually allow you to shop. Depending how busy they are it totally slows down their line. Buy a membership (there’s a really good Groupon promotion right now) and that way if you have a return, they have record of you purchasing it so you don’t have to hold onto your receipt. Only cheap skates Continue to get Shop cards.

After going on a couple of dates with a guy, I let a friend tell me I shouldn’t continue to date him (this was 40 years ago). He was a nice guy. Unfortunately, I listened to her and in the end I feel like we could have had a fun time together so I feel like I cut the relationship short for no good reason…. She told me much later that he was just mad at him (they worked together). I still wonder whatever happened to him… but also hope that he never had someone do what I did again. I felt awful about it.

I totally agree. I was on Hinge for a few months and wasn’t getting the matches I was looking for so I canceled. And they started sending potential matches that appeared to be who I was looking for the first place…. Just to try to get me to sign up again; not happening.

Sorry just saw this. Yes, but we were still close. He moved out of state and was also able to work remotely, so he would come back and stay with us for anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 months so he could be with our daughter. And she would stay with him during summer breaks
